Dominic Monahgan was born in Berlin on December 8, 1986. When the boy was 12 years old, his family moved to the UK. Thanks to her acting talent and radiant smile, Dominica was often invited to participate in various children's TV shows. However, after graduation, he went to the University, where he studied English literature and geography. But the dream of becoming an actor did not leave the guy, and after university he went to the Manchester Youth Theatre.
The BBC noted Dominic's acting skills and invited him to star in the television series "The Hetty Winthrop Investigation." For four years, Monahgan worked at the TV channel, simultaneously performing in theater productions.
In 1999, after hearing about the casting The Lord of the Rings movie Dominic passed the audition, but not knowing the result, went to France to shoot the film “Mont señor Regnar”. Parallel to how this picture came out, he learned that he was approved for the role of the hobbit Meriadoc and went to New Zealand for two years.
