Famous Polish actor Boguslaw Linda was born in Torun on June 27, 1952. After graduation, he entered the Krakow Academy of Dramatic Art, from which he graduated in 1974. Since 1975 he has played at the Krakow Old and Wroclaw Polish theatres. Boguslav made his film debut in 1977, when he played a small role in Dagny. Later he played more significant roles. So, in 1980, he starred in the political drama Fever by A. Holland, where he played the anarchist Gryzyak, and two years later - Saint-Just in the film Danton. And Wajda. Along with his work in cinema, Bohuslav Linda also played in theaters in Warsaw.
Many paintings in which Bohuslav Linda participated were banned in Poland due to martial law. In 1987, there was a turning point, and "from the shelf" were removed such films as: "Magnat" by F. Bayona, "Lonely Woman" by A. Holland, "Mother of Kings" by J. Zaorsky, "The Case" by K. Keslevsky and others. In the same family, Boguslav Linda tried himself as a director. He directed the short film The End, and in 1990 the film Seychelles, which tells about the difficult fate of a new generation that cannot find itself in its native country.
Later, Bohuslav Linda returned to acting and starred a lot not only in Poland, but also in Denmark, Hungary and other countries. In the nineties he played in many films. So, in 1991, the actor starred in the film “The Rabbit”, in 1992 in the films “Dogs” and “Sauna”, in 1993 in “Private City”, in 1995 in the film “Dogs-2”. Many of Boguslav Linda’s roles are negative. These are the new masters of life: businessmen, policemen, gangsters – people ruthless and cruel, but, as a rule, lonely and psychologically defenseless. The exception is the lyrical role played by Boguslav in 1995 in the film “Papa”.
Bohuslav Linda is married, has three children, two sons and a daughter. /
