In 1979, he made his film debut with the drama “Dumpsters” about the difficult life of teenagers in a correctional institution, on which director Alan Clark worked. However, the broadcast of the film was banned by the leadership of the BBC, as the plot struck with excessive cruelty. Two years later, the film was still held in cinemas of the country.
