Ludek Drizhal is a music producer and composer who has written music for numerous films. Born in Prague on 29 April 1966, he studied violin from the age of five, then at the Prague Conservatory. He began to perform on the stage at the age of nine, winning awards in various competitions. Also from a young age he discovered a passion for improvisation, from the age of ten he began to experiment with composition, and gradually this hobby became a profession.
He graduated from the University of Texas School of Music and the Thornton School of Music, where he taught musical composition, orchestration, history and music theory for six years.
Drizhal began to write music for cinema since the early 2000s. Among his works in this field are the horror films “The Cursed Prison” and “Simon Speaks”, a fantasy action movie.
