In the forties, Gabriele Ferzetti successfully played in several films, and then there was a pause, and in the cinema he returned only to the early fifties. Viewers saw Ferzetti in such films as “Fabiola” (1949) and “Provincial” (1953) – the actor, with his aristocratic manners, became a great favorite of the public.

In 1955, while acting in the film "Girls", Gabriele Ferzetti met Michelangelo Antonioni. Three years later, this outstanding film director successfully used the Ferzetti type in his career. .
