Already in 1899, Ludwig left the bar and devoted himself entirely to literary creativity, becoming famous for satirical stories and one-act comedies, as well as large novels about the lives of his compatriots. His most famous work is “Stories of Mischievous People”, a book that received several adaptations of the 1960s.
