Rosamund studied at a boarding school in Bristol, and at the age of sixteen she was hired by the National Youth Theatre, where she studied acting, playing on the stage for three seasons. Rosamund’s most significant work in this theater was the role of Juliet in W. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

After working in the theater, Pike entered Wedham College at Oxford University, where she studied English literature. As a student, Rosamund took an active part in student theater productions, toured with the student troupe with the production of “Taming the Shrew”. Shortly before graduation, the actress was invited to shoot in the film “Marriage in English”, where she played alongside Tom Courtney and Albert Finney. While working in the cinema, Pike continued to play in the theater. The actress perfectly played in the play “The Libertine”, Stephen Jeffreys and “All My Sons” by Arthur Miller.

Before entering Oxford, Rosamund was invited to audition and successfully auditioned for a large project, which at the time was never launched. But a year later, the actress received an invitation to shoot in the film “Wives and daughters”, where she got the role of Lady Harriet. Together with her in the film starred Francesca Enis, Michael Gambon, Bill Patterson and others.
In 2001, Rosamunda finished her studies and received a bachelor’s degree. Now the actress is focused exclusively on her work: she starred in films, plays in the theater, continues to build her acting career, replenishing her luggage with new interesting roles in wonderful films.
