In 1912 she graduated from the Kiev Music School in the singing class; debuted in the Ukrainian troupe of N. K. Sadovsky. She performed in the opera houses of Petrograd (1914-16), Vinnytsia (1919-22), Kharkov (1923-35) and Kiev (1935-53). Since 1944, Professor of the Kiev Conservatory. State Prize of the USSR (1946). Awarded the Order of Lenin and 3 other orders.
