On the Russian screen, actress Oksana Olegovna Basilevich got “roundabout” ways. As a rule, the actors are first removed from directors-compatriots, and only then acquire fame abroad. But Oksana had the opposite: her debut Russian-Farnzuz film “Chekist” appeared on the screens in 1991, then she was invited to the role of Barbara in the Hollywood version of Tolstoy’s “Anna Karenina”, where her partners on the set were Mel Gibson and Sofia Marceau. Only then came a stream of Russian films, in which the actress was involved.
Oksana was born on February 26, 1969, her homeland is the city of Leninigrad (now St. Petersburg). For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be an artist. Already at the age of four, she made her debut in front of relatives and neighbors with her performances. Then there was a fascination with vocals, then - dancing and tricks. From this series, a passion for surgery is somewhat knocked out, but, as they say, you can not throw out words from the song. After studying at school, Oksana entered the Ryazan Pedagogical Institute, but her soul to pedagogy clearly did not lie.
And so the next summer she went to conquer LGITMIK and became a student of Arkady Katsman. The student was mischievous, she often skipped classes, and then “creatively” apologized to her teacher. Such “creative apologies” from the future actress over the years of study gained more than any of her classmates.
After graduating from the institute in 1990, Oksana became an actress at the Farsy Theatre (St. Petersburg). Here she played the roles of Ophelia ("Hamlet"), Dolores ("Turgenev"), Nastya ("The village of Stepanchikovo"), Girls with a dream ("Fantasia"); tours of the theater took place in France, Spain, England and Holland. At the Theatre on Litein, Oksana was engaged in the role of Cordelia in the production of King Lear.
After foreign directors "discovered" the film actress Basilevich, she starred in a number of Russian films and TV series: "American", "Mechanical Suite",
"Streets of broken lights" "Secrets of investigation", "Slaughter force", "Agent of national security-2", "Special Department", "Happy new year!",
"Golden Bullet Agency" Knife in the Clouds. /
