Russian and Ukrainian actor Dmitry Valerievich Shevchenko comes from Odessa from an intelligent family. Dmitri’s father was an outstanding scientist-economist, his mother was engaged in ballet, then entered the phil department. Since childhood, Dmitry instilled a love for the theater, as his mother had many friends among actors.
At school, the boy loved to participate in amateur art, but was a terrible bully, often fought, began smoking early, trying alcohol. His parents divorced early, and he did not feel the results of his father's upbringing. But at the same time, he graduated from high school.
Contrary to all expectations, he entered the Odessa Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Engineering and Economics. He was very serious about economics and even published several books. But during his studies, he was “infected” with the scene, at the institute he played in the team of KVN “Odessa gentlemen”. After graduation, he saw himself only as an actor.
In 1986, Dmitry Shevchenko entered LGITMIK. I studied the acting profession very hard, because I understood that it is one thing when you take part in amateur activities, and quite another when you are next to the same talented people.
In 1990 he graduated from LGITMIK and began to play in the theater. In 1991 he collaborated with Drama Actors of St. Petersburg, and from 1992 to 1997 he worked at the Alexandria Theatre, in which he played both secondary and main roles. The most remarkable works of Dmitry Shevchenko are “Poverty is not a vice”, “Winter fairy tale”, “Divine Juliana”.
In 1993, playing mainly on stage, he got the lead role in the English film Zinc Boys, which took first place in the UK among television films.
In 1997, Dmitry Shevchenko moved to Moscow to seriously pursue a film career. Since that time, he starred in the clips of Arkady Ukupnik, Philip Kirkorov, Alla Pugacheva, also does not disdain to appear in advertising.
The main role in the film directed by Yuri Grymov “Mu-mu” was invited by Dmitry Shevchenko. Then there are roles in series such as
Birthday of a bourgeois" .
Poor Nastya "Sleuths", "Family Secrets", "Russians in the City of Angels". With the participation of the actor, the films “Per-R-Classgirl” were also released.
"Lola and the Marquis" .
"Barbie Wedding" And many others. I must say that the actor is very successful in the role of adventurers, killers and other villains. But Dmitry Shevchenko makes them charming and memorable in his own way.
The actor does not like to talk about his personal life. It is known that Dmitry Shevchenko was married to ballet soloist Philip Kirkorov.
