People's Artist of the RSFSR, Pyotr Velyaminov came from an outstanding family. The roots of his surname go back to ancient times: one of the ancestors of the artist in the early eleventh century brought his three thousandth squad to the service of Yaroslav the Wise. Others held the honor of an officer in the service of the Tsar and the Fatherland. He wore epaulettes and the father of the future actor, Lieutenant Colonel Sergey Petrovich Velyaminov. Perhaps that is why Pyotr Sergeyevich was so good at the role of the military - the concept of duty and devotion to the homeland was in his blood.
Acting skills Pyotr Velyaminov mastered in the amateur circle of the camp for prisoners, where he spent his youth. His father, as a former tsarist officer, was arrested and spent many years in prison, a ridiculous suspicion fell on Peter. In 1952, Pyotr Velyaminov was released and began to work in the Abakan Drama Theatre. Then - in the Tyumen Regional Drama Theater. Having restrictions on registration, Petr Sergeevich changed more than one provincial theater, and with each change a new "turn" was noticeable in his skill, professional growth.
In 1971, the talented artist in the Sverdlovsk Theater was seen by directors Uskov and Krasnopolsky. The outstanding play of Velyaminov in an ordinary play, which excited the hall, was remembered by both, and also by the eyes of Peter Sergeevich, his unique deep look. My colleagues thought this artist deserved better. So, for the first time in his life, Velyaminov was invited to the cinema and played in the cult.
Shadows Disappear at Noon .
In 1972, Pyotr Sergeevich played another outstanding role in the cinema, which embodied all his officer’s legacy – the commander of a submarine.
Picture Commander of the Happy Pike . After that, Velyaminov left the theater and completely devoted himself to cinema. The audience remembered the role of Polycarp Kruzhilin in
Captain of the Soviet cargo ship in the Soviet action film "Pirates of the XX century", the role of Prince Vladimir in the historical
film "Yaroslav the Wise" .
The famous actor was married three times. The widow of Peter Sergeyevich was destined to become Tanakova Tatiana Alexandrovna. In the arms of this beautiful woman, the actor died of severe pneumonia on June 14, 2009. Peter Velyaminov was buried on the Literary Bridges of the Volkovo cemetery in St. Petersburg. /
