People's art. RSFSR (1956). Associate Professor (1952) of the department - "Scenic speech" . In 1922 she graduated from the School of Russian Drama in Petrograd (class of L. S. Vivian). In the same year, she began stage work (the School-Studio at the Academician drama school in Petrograd). In 1922-27 she worked in the theaters of Vitebsk, Smolensk, Leningr. re "Free Comedy", Kiev drama, Kremenchug drama. Roles: Louise ("Cunning and love"), Clarice ("Servant of two masters"), Rosie ("Battle of butterflies" Zuderman), etc. From 1927 she was an actress of the Bolshoi Drama in Leningrad. The acutely modern, bold performance of the roles of Xenia (Rupture, 1927) and Goga (Man with a Portfolio, 1928) marked the beginning of K.’s active work on images in the plays of Soviet playwrights. Convincingly and enthusiastically conveys K. integrity, moral health, optimism, features of the new in the images of Vali ("Conspiracy of the senses"), Murki ("Line of Fire" Nikitin), Masha ("After the ball"). The life-affirming character of K.’s art, her inherent lyricism, irony, sense of “historical perspectives,” the roles found expression in Gorky’s plays: Shura (‘Egor Bulychev and others,’ ‘Dostigaev and others,’), Elena (‘Petersburghers,’), Nastya (‘At the bottom,’), Julia Filippovna (‘quot’), Tatiana Lugotovaya (‘Vot’), and Lidovary (‘Vot’). The comedic talent of the actress was manifested in the roles of Beatrice ("Much noise from nothing"), Epanchina ("Idiot" by Dostoevsky). Drama, hearty wisdom are permeated by the images of Vera Filippovna created by the actress ("Heart is not a stone"), Savina ("In search of joy" Rozova, 1957), Grandma ("The Cliff" according to Goncharov, 1956).
