Rashida Lee Jones was born on February 25, 1976 in Los Angeles. She was born as a result of the mixed marriage of the famous African-American Quincy Jones and Jewish Peggy Lipton. From a very young age, parents realized that they had a gifted child. The girl read a lot, composed music and poems, sang in the choir and was fond of religions. At school she was an excellent student and took an active part in all activities.
