Born May 9, 1980 in Sochi, USSR. Russian athlete, member of the Russian Olympic team in bobsled at the Olympics in Turin, where he won a silver medal as part of the four-man crew. Alexey Voevoda before moving to bobsleigh became a two-time world champion in armwrestling. Professional bobsledder since 2002. At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Voevoda, together with Philip Egorov, Alexei Seliverstov and Alexander Zubkov, won a silver medal as part of the four-man crew.
