Brendan Coyle is a British television, film and theatre actor. In his early years, Coyle lived alternately in Dublin and London. Inspired by Shakespeare’s plays, which he read in school, Brendan contacted his Irish aunt, who ran his own theater troupe, and very soon the actor began to study at the acting school. In 1981, Coyle completed his drama studies in Dublin, and two years later he was awarded a diploma from the British Academy of Theatre Arts.
Coyle began acting on television and in films in the nineties. One of his debut roles was as Sergeant Benvel in Fool's Gold: The Story of the Brink's-Mat Robbery. In 1995, Brendan played the role of Manuel Mendoza in the series.
