Song Kang-Ho is a Korean film actor. Song never studied to be an actor, after graduating from school he had to play in groups of social theater. Despite the fact that Song was often offered to act in films, he decided to refuse until he agreed to take part in the film The Day a Pig Fell into the Well, directed by Hong San-su in 1996. A year later, playing the role of a homeless man in the documentary Timeless Bottomless Bad Movie directed by Hong San-su, Song became a real cult figure.
In 1997, after Kang-Ho starred in crime comedy No. 3, he won the top prize for best performance. Since then, Kang-Ho has played several supporting roles, and then a great role in the popular blockbuster thriller Shiri directed by Jae Gyu Kang in 1999.
