Even absolute evil must have a heart. Thematically, “True North” can be put on a par with the film “Deadly Flight”, but in terms of entertainment it is several orders of magnitude lower. Everything that happens in the film does not leave indifferent and causes indignation, even shocking with its cruelty and cynicism. Such a plot always suggests that what really motivated a person to do so heartlessly? The answer is simple: selfishness. After all, all thoughts of such a person are always only about their own benefit, their interests are above all else. But rightly so, but what about: humanity, compassion, conscience? He probably doesn’t know such things.
As for the acting, I can’t say that they did perfect, everything looked pretty tolerable. As for the development of the plot, there is a lack of action and a worthy culmination.
Still, the picture left an imprint on my soul and despite the minor errors, I consider worthy of attention. " True North is a film about human cruelty, it is worth watching for lovers of leisurely storytelling, I think it will not leave you indifferent.
