Stars on the mass of undistinguished actors on the main roles in the series Massovka Age rating '18+'
Who hasn’t dreamed of becoming a member of a movie or even a TV series? Such, probably, little, very little, negligible little, there are practically no such ... they are not.
This series begins with a selection of sketches about the work of extra actors. At the same time, ironically, in fact, famous actors / actresses and celebrities of other colors act as extras here. At the same time, these most famous representatives of show biz do not just play, they play unusual roles of themselves, but not themselves at all, but as if themselves, but not as they are in real life. Our celebrities are obscene jokes, banter, engage in petty harassment on the set.
Our show is unique for its time. Back then, there was still some framework on conservative TV. Over time, there will be fewer of them, and there will be more such shows. But for its time, Massovka is unique. She jokes about everyday life and stereotypes around the lives of straight people and people of non-traditional orientation, with humor notes the life of people of different skin colors.
Unfortunately, the series begins as humorous, but with each episode it becomes not just black and ironic humor, but more and more touches on some more spiritual themes and thoughts, so to speak. The authors dig too deep, literally bury the series in the wrong wilds. But that's the thing. Authors do what they want, not according to patterns. Maybe that's right.
More broadly, the series preaches the truth. More than 99% of extra actors achieve nothing. They waste their lives, suffering most of the humiliation from the more eminent overlords of the film business. You can't envy a life like that. And only a few are knocked out on top of the food chain.
What happens to the lucky ones at the top of the food chain? Should they entertain those below, those below?! Do you want to be such an entertainer/actor? Do you want it? Or maybe go far away to your own island to spend your life playing golf, drinking cocktails on the beach and not worrying about anything? And it's boring. It's boring. It's all fuss. It's bustling.
