Srdjan Vasilyevich is a real Nietzschean superman, he stands above morality and convention, he is drawn to life in the most extreme manifestations, there is nothing for him but profit, in conditions when others are seized by a patriotic impulse and call to protect his race, he judiciously notices the ebal ya tvoyu rasu, and goes to Belgrade to use the new opportunities opened with the war. He saves Adria from a Serbian member aimed at her not because he is a humanist or has sympathy for her, at first she is a thing for him, a pretty bitch that can come in handy, he does it out of pragmatism.
Gradually, his attitude towards her will change, Srjan will love Adria, but a very interesting love, expressed by the formula “I do not sleep myself and I will not give others”, so the fool who dares to talk to her in the bar will receive a smile of Guinplan as a gift, and will forever remain “the man who laughs”. The only sex scene Srjan and Adria have together lasts exactly three seconds, which is what happens when you wait too long and love too much. Srjan is a predator, bright, dangerous, possessing the very charm that makes bad guys irresistible for exalted girls. The more ridiculous is the union of Adria with the herbivorous American Sean, whose only advantage is the ability to run on walls (it is a pity that not on the ceiling).
Curly lamb Sean looks sluggish, infantile, (in the midst of a love scene, he runs to look out the window - there you can see something interesting!) gray and worthless against the background of a lively, furious Srjan. They are people from different planets, Srjan is a man of war, Sean is one of those worthless boys who shook their ass up to gray hair on skateboards. Gundos, like all Americans, he helplessly gnaws in dangerous situations, prayerfully folds his handles in front of his chest, in general, he is an ordinary cloven-hoofed, the only thing that can explain Adria’s passion for such a specimen is the presence of foal loins.
Srjan's violent, vital passions against Sean's sluggish bourgeois gurgling - as Stanislavsky used to say - I don't believe it! Adria loves Srjan and looks at him with a sheep’s eye, this girl flows all over her, and his eye is “washed”, he simply does not see her, until a certain point. The magical scene in which Adria is freed from her obsession with Srjan will be very painful, bloody, as in life. Adria will learn a lot from Srjan (a scene in a Russian brothel), what can give her a vegetable cavalier like Sean?
Shot heads, severed, bitten fingers, rape – in this film there is a lot that pleases the eye of a hardened sadist, the film is magnificent, honest perverse! Rieu Rasmussen is a good director, all scenes with Srjan are filmed in a monochrome color scheme, but Sean is shown in color, the idea is clear, right? An interesting decision of the director – the shootout in the brothel is filmed from above, the caged space with rushing sluts and customers is a real “Human Menagerie”.
