Just one image of this sea killer for four decades has horrified people around the world. This project draws a line between facts and fiction, legend and reality.
It is interesting that the author of the bestseller, which formed the basis of the famous film about the White Shark - Peter Benchley, takes part in the collection of information. The research team was joined by a world-renowned photographer with many years of experience working with sharks and other specialists. Of particular interest are scenes of dissection of a captured giant shark. When you see in the frame this creature more than five meters long, with an imposing deadly jaw, the spirit intercepts. You don't often see such a sight. In addition, this is a rare opportunity to more thoroughly study the anatomy of these graceful predators. It's amazing that the characteristics that we're trying to translate into the world of technology today have been working successfully in the animal kingdom for millions of years. I mean the incredible sensitivity of sharks to changes in their environment, like a set of state-of-the-art sensors to make them perfect predators. As is typical for this series, the timing is less than an hour, so the action does not have time to get bored even taking into account the large number of monologues of the narrator and dialogues between the characters. In addition, the most recent scenes show the amazing treatment of sea killers, whom most of us fear to death. Personally, I was amazed that you could put your hand on a white shark like that. Of course, such shots are something that can not be repeated, because before us real professionals, and even then risk their health. It's just, it's really impressive. I was surprised by the statement that the chance of being attacked by this animal on the high seas is negligible.
If we take a series of NGOs about animals, this is perhaps one of the most interesting films, since it combines not only the narrative of a living creature, but also the special attitude of people to it, which has developed over the years thanks to literature and cinema.
