White bandits led by scoundrel Dixon and Comanches led by Chief Big Bear, with the support of Captain Bradley, weave intrigues to unleash a war between settlers and Apaches. They attack a peaceful farm and settler caravan, masquerading as an Apache. Their plans interfere with Old Shatterhand and Winnet.
The next picture of the series based on the novels of Karl May was shot by Argentine director Hugo Fregonese. In the 50s he worked in Hollywood and made several westerns (" Tramp in the Saddle, Apache Drums). Fregonese worked a genre picture according to American recipes, shooting several large-scale scenes, such as the Apache attack on the American fort, involving hundreds of extras (the film became the most expensive in the Winnet series). And even introduced elements of eroticism into the picture: Palom’s naked mestiza performed by German Delia Lavi bathes in a mountain waterfall (however, everything is very chaste).
In the foreground, as always a pair of Barker-Bris, villains are played by Rick Battaglia (the first, but not the last of his appearance in this film series) and Guy Madison, the star of the Hollywood westerns of the 50s ("Captain, The Last Frontier). In a small role of the Apache warrior appears young Goiko Mitic.
Another series of adventures to Winnet and Old Shatterhand. This time it’s more like Hollywood.
