"Achieve Success" (USA, 2000) And in simplicity is the power of the soul. Hello.
Having finished watching the best films and cartoons of all time, I have now moved on to what my soul desires.
To unwritten masterpieces such as The Godfather, Flying Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and so on, I'll be back, but for now, let me just relax. After all, summer, sunshine, warmth...
And in the theme of the holidays will be the best to talk about the youth sports comedy about professional cheerleaders, under the serious philosophical title “Achieve success”, the 2000th year of release.
In an ordinary American town, lives a weak American football team, with a ferocious name "Rancho Carne Toros". And perhaps no one would have known anything about them if not for their powerful, well-coordinated and amazingly organized support team – five-time winners of the country in this sport.
However, this is if you look from the outside. In fact, it's much weaker. Stolen programs, internal disagreements, intimidation ...
But now they're done. The permanent leader Red Boss (Lindsay Sloan) resigned, giving the post to a soft-hearted, naive and simple girl named Torrence Shipman (Kirsten Dunst). And although she wanted to lead the "bulls", but, nevertheless, did not take into account that not everyone can keep the team in shape. And then the beloved guy went to college, one of the girls was severely injured that she had to look for a replacement, at school some cute new guy appeared (Jesse Bradford), the team “East Compton Clovers” appeared, with the charismatic captain Isis (Gabrielle Union), which former leader Red Boss, secretly from everyone, stole the program (so, the reckoning is coming), well, and, of course, the championship itself, against which everything happens... Whether Torrence will be able to confront everything and everyone, you will know if you want to watch this comedy.
You know, I specifically noted the word “wish”, because this kind of film is not recommended to everyone in a row.
Yeah, I really liked it myself. I've never seen this movie, and I was curious (directed by Peyton Reed, screenplay by Jessica Bendinger, composer: Christophe Beck).
But maybe that kind of simplicity is not enough. And that's okay.
I mean,
He appreciated the fun and funny beginning of the picture (very often the story begins poorly, because of which the films fail and become boring). It's the opposite here.
* did not notice rude, vulgar and too stupid scenes (only in one place there was some overkill with nausea, but against the background of the whole picture, he did not stand out much);
I was interested in comparing similar films with dance ones (choreography is different, movements are different too). It was very interesting;
* took note of several fragments from this story (say, simplicity, and the psychology of some scenes, nevertheless, touched me).
And, of course, I saw that the so-called “product with continuation” was produced. Like “Step forward” or “Fast and Furious”, this picture can be continued repeatedly. Just-- should I? Let everyone answer this question for themselves.
And personally, I can say that such tapes lead me to a good, kind, energetic and positive training. Such as running, squats, push-ups, slopes, stretching and, of course, the press. After all, it was the exercises on the press, with 5 kilogram dumbbells behind my head, that came to my mind immediately after watching this light sports comedy. As they say, everyone has their own...
