Another adaptation A magnificent directorial tandem in the face of three masters of adaptations of the adventures of Marvel superheroes, Kurt Gued, Stephen Gordon and Bob Richardson took up the transfer to the screens of the well-known “Avengers”. In full-length format, naturally. At the time of their appearance, namely 2006, they did quite well, although in general, they could have pulled to a much higher level. Of course, I mean more by current standards. And in general, the audience is spoiled by various adaptations of comics with incredibly cool special effects, respectively, and it is quite difficult to surprise someone, including me, but we will judge by the standards of 2006 anyway. This is more correct than that.
In the script of the picture, the plot is played out for sure long ago known to many fans of comics. Already pretty littered Captain America, with the help of the technology of a secret, government organization S.H.I.E.L.D., is taken from the depths of the ocean, inside a frozen block of ice. After the hero comes to his senses, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury, invites him to join the elite team of Earth’s superheroes to fight threats from outside. On the horizon, the attack of Chitauri looms.
In general, it turned out very, very good, the full meter resulted in a rather successful adaptation. Of course, not everything here is as good as it may seem at first glance. Personally, I didn't have enough action. It seems to be enough here, but nevertheless, I would like a little more. The team itself consists as usual of Cap, Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor. The other two members of the group are not that impressive. Of course, they look quite colorful, but I personally found very dull - Hank Pym and Janet Pym. But come on, I managed to see the same Hawkeye in the film adaptation of “The Avengers”.
In general, it turned out to be a very standard and not pretending to be anything. Fans will literally do just fine. I can’t say that many others will be too disappointed. Just another look at the beloved heroes.
