I didn't like it. Yes. I never thought I would write such a review for an Indian film. For the first time in 20 years, I was completely disappointed with the Indian film. I've seen thousands of them over the years, but I've never experienced this before. Once again, I was convinced that it is not for nothing that I do not watch new Indian films almost (with rare exceptions), I do not like them. They look like American films. Too many naked bodies, too many bed scenes and talk about sex. Love on the screen is not natural, there is a lot of falsehood and hypocrisy in the relationship. Everyone is constantly lying to each other looking straight in the eyes and women are too vulgar. The faces of the actors are impenetrable, the expression does not change, no matter what the situation. It's all like wood. B-r-r ...
Where did the highlight that has always been in Indian cinema go? Now you watch modern films and think, where is that trepidation in relationships, tenderness, and warmth, where care for each other, where is sincerity and readiness for self-sacrifice? There is no such thing as in the Indian cinema of the past years: when love is real sincere with the burning eyes of actors, such that you believe in it to the point of losing your pulse. The tears are such that the heart breaks even at the very tears with streams down the face when viewed. You feel with all your soul, with all your heart for the heroes of the film, as if real events are happening. The drama is such that you want to shout “Why is he / she so tested?” What did he deserve? Why is he in so much pain and suffering?.The relationship between the characters is pure, sincere, real. Not a drop of lies and falsehoods, everything is so natural and natural that after watching a few days you can not recover from what you saw.
Where did all this go? Is Bollywood becoming like Hollywood? God forbid that happens. This is a real disaster. Then it will only be necessary to review the good old films of the past. You can't look at modern ones.
I watched only because of Shah Rukh, as always the decoration of any film. I forced myself to look to the end, hoping to see at least a small spark in the eyes of the characters, at least a drop of naturalness. I didn't. Not a gram. I didn't like the movie at all. I am not going to review it.
I wanted to put 0 for the film, but only because of Shah and because I do not write negative reviews, I decided to keep it neutral. And personally I put Shah 5.
