Les temps qui changent I like the films of European director Andre Tesiné, they have some exclusivity and purity, and his cinematic works always feel his skillful hand. “Turn Time Back” is a French drama with elements of melodrama, which Andre Teshiné directed in 2004 and invited the brightest and most talented French stars to star.
We see how by chance there are people who once very long ago were in love with each other, but many years have passed, and each has its own fate and lives, but their lines of life are again intertwined, and they again stood facing each other, and want to turn back time, but this is impossible, and we see an unusual and interesting story of two people, which is so European we showed.
It was a pleasure to see Catherine Deneuve and Gerard Depardieu together again on the big screen, they are one of my favorite French stars and I love watching movies with them. Catherine Deneuve was always beautiful and charming. She has a certain charm and exclusivity that makes her such an unforgettable and bright actress of world cinema. Gerard Depardieu as always charming and plays talented and believable. He always skillfully plays complex dramatic and comic, funny roles, and in this drama he looked good. Deneuve and Depardieu are one of my favorite on-screen duets and I love movies when they star together.
This drama, of course, will not please everyone, and it is shot on an amateur and for those who can feel all that the director shows us, and the director of this film is a really talented person, and he is a master of making interesting and unusual films. Turning Time Back is a film about love and its limits, about unfulfilled dreams and fragile hopes, about life and its reality. I liked this film, although it is complex and intricate, which can lead the viewer to indignation and confusion, and the atmosphere was very interesting: cold and dramatic, and immediately felt like it was European cinema. “Les temps qui changent” is a drama about how many, many years later two people who once loved each other met, and the feelings flared up again vividly and dynamically, but too much water has flowed, and we see a drama about love and life that carries meaning and an unusual confusing story. I think the film turned out well, and it deserves the attention of the audience and positive feedback. It is certainly necessary to see all those who like Catherine Deneuve and Gerard Depardieu.
