"You have been ruined by it." A French comedy, in every sense of the word. The movie is light and funny, cute and comic. It looks with an unobtrusive smile, and its main aspect is Emmanuel Bear. Personally, I appreciated this unpretentious movie solely because of participation in it. The film is little known and attracts attention only because of this French actress.
This is Chantal's story. The heroine is married, she has a temporarily unemployed husband, a growing son and an ordinary job, but she is happy and turns every day like a squirrel in a wheel, doing a lot of things every single day. Everything was good and familiar, until the heroine was full of bad luck. A friend advised Chantal to go to the clairvoyant, and he immediately put the woman before the fact that she was damaged. You can get rid of damage, but you have to pay a tidy sum. We see how Chantal gets into a series of comic and random events that turn into a real odyssey.
I remember that movie. It’s not a masterpiece, but you can see it once. In addition to Chantal, there are many heroes in his story, and their lives will be intertwined, turning into something comical and one continuous misunderstanding. From the theme of a cunning clairvoyant who profites from gullible people, a funny and positive story full of French humor and comic moments was shot.
The film was very much like a television movie. I think the story could have been much more dynamic and even funnier, and then the film would have been better known. A few funny moments in this comedy still make you smile. It was funny. The atmosphere was humorous, everything looked believable, the situations were lifelike and realistic, which is very important. French comedies are much closer to reality and something true than American comedies. This is what I like about French cinema.
The actors in this simple film all played comically, but of course my attention was more on Emmanuey Bear. She was the soul of the film and amused the viewer well with her imaginary and trusting heroine. It was very funny.
Salon of Magic is a 2001 French comedy. The picture is positive and light, cute and funny, for those who love and appreciate French cinema. The film amused me and I am neutral. Thank you.
