How Gove went to study a bandit, or notice how great I slug... The film is absolutely unstressed, relaxing, easy. I'd say empty, but it's not. Govinda, my beloved Govinda Ahuja pulls out a plot that is unpretentious. Beef in this movie plays a guy from a decent family who for the sake of love goes to study “for a bandit” in order to impress the girl’s father. The girl is played by Ravina Tandon, already out of the age when you can play young maidens, but where to go if you needed to film, earn money. I really like her in the 90s movies, but after 2000 she had to change her role. Although this is my purely personal opinion and it has nothing to do with this film.
Raj (Govinda) meets Kieran, falls in love as usual, and it goes to the wedding, but the topic spoils Father Kieran, who is a villainous bandit. Although he's a thug, maybe he was when he was young, and now he's just a burglar. But the son-in-law wants a gangster. Dad plays Kader Khan. I really like this uncle, so good-natured, good-natured, Gena looks like a crocodile. His choice falls on Shakti Dada (Shakti Kapoor), a bandit who spent most of his life in prison. But as usual, the father believes, and the daughter disposes. She doesn't need Shakti, she needs Raj. And Raj is sent to study "the bandit" to Subramaniam. Johnny Lever, oddly enough, I was not annoyed in this film, jokes released in moderation flat. There were a lot of funny moments in the movie. And the actors tried. At first Raj didn't succeed - being a bandit is not a pear-shattering thing. But gradually, he entered the role and it was much more difficult to get out of it and become a decent guy. Grandpa Kieran appeared, played by the same Kader Khan - a double role he has here. Granddad needs to marry a boy from a good family. Raj had to expose himself and work with his grandfather in a different direction.
The music in the film is normal, average, even for that period. Dancing is miserable. The choreographer should be kicked in the head, to be honest. Ravina's costumes also left much to be desired. Govinda had this whole movie goofy. He has this thing, then some blizzard carries, then jokes in films in this way. But it's nothing. I liked the idea of how much a person can change (in this case radically), or pretend to love. Oh, that love. All for her...
I recommend the film to fans of Ravina and Govie. Everyone else, I think, can be missed. In India, the movie failed, and I know why. During this period, much stronger films were released, against their background this “creation” fades. But I watched it (once!) with pleasure.
My assessment:
9 out of 10
