Don't say... Don't think... I love Spanish movies. They don't look like Americans. There is no such thing as sweetness, pathos, somlodrama...
Well, that's what I thought until I saw the movie Don't Tell ("Silence). The fact that it is Spanish, I found out when I decided to write a review.
The film is so American that I would never believe it was made by the Spaniards. Maybe Amadeu, the director, studied in the United States and got inspired by their ideas of making films? Or is he just a fan of the B-C-D-movie? Whatever it is, I will highlight the weaknesses of the film. I didn’t find a strong one, sorry.
1. A cheerful company of boys and girls... Oh, stop it! That's sluggish! As soon as I see a description that starts with “Group of Young People...” or I look for another movie. I was really attracted to the cover here. For some reason, I thought it would be like a call.
But no. Meaningless dialogue. Endless chatter... Positioning males (or, more correctly, “guys”) You're waiting for something to happen to them.
2. Entourage... "Forest, glade, hump, hole ..." (sorry for the verse, if anyone recognized it). I think that's how the location was chosen. Almost a chamber film, shot on a couple of dozen square meters: several summer houses, a mansion, a road, trees ... All! Like an island.
Keep in mind that the views of the island will not please you. Except that you can enjoy separately removed polishes.
3. The cause of "horror." And she's absolutely stunning. It turns out that once the owner ... No, let's just say, one day residents... No, something's wrong again... One day children... No, let's get back to the people. And so, a couple of years ago, residents... No, it's better to be the owner.
No, I don't know how to make an offer. This director is trying to create a reason for the action on the screen during the filming. If you'll excuse him, he needs to write the script and agree on the inconsistencies right during the process. Nothing. In the end, I assure you, he will come up with something and, in the end, you will see something.
4. Templates ... templates ... I don't want to talk about them anymore. Idiots (no, I’m not rude, but judge for yourself: coming to someone else’s house and not forcing the owner to “eat” everything they see and shout “good mat” is not a sign of idiotismus?). Attempts... yes!... to split up and search. Shutting down the brain (so that logic does not interfere) and perform such illogical actions that one wonders how evolution has not eradicated them yet on the mainland.
5. The ending... And the ending of Amadeu decided to surprise us! I did surprise you. Yeah. I wish I hadn't surprised... It would be better to just remove the usual template ending. Or left the final open. So no! I decided to surprise you.
In a word, endure the ending of the film. You can even philosophize about it. Or just doomed to realize that 80 minutes of your life passed by three.
The film is very American. Very youthful. That makes him very stupid.
Nothing new, nothing interesting. The idea was, by the way, interesting, but it died in a talentless implementation.
In such films, we are confronted with the fact: here are the heroes, here are the villains, and will he/she survive until the end of the film? Who are these heroes? Who is this villain? Why did this happen and not otherwise? What drove the criminal/maniac? There are many other questions that are not answered in such films.
There is no answer to these questions here.
To look at it, you need to look silently without distraction. Without thinking. Otherwise, stop watching it in the first third of the timekeeping.
Excerpts you and save after watching it at least a little good mood.
