Friendship is hot.
Love is a fire.
And the parents.
Fire extinguishers!
(One of the fashionable SMS-fun jokes of the middle 'zero')
Judging by the very small number of reviews, the film is not ' thundered' and it is unlikely to be remembered in a few years, unlike its predecessors, one of which I hinted at in the title of the review. It is a pity, because the project is not cheap, both in visual terms, and in script and plot, and most importantly - the film is very good as a youth comedy, as a film that is suitable for viewing in a friendly company with popcorn and cola, which will be laughed at in the voice of all the young people present (given that the film is dedicated to adolescents is female, it is especially suitable for bachelorette parties). At the end of the XX century, American cinema began to produce one after another youth comic films on the theme of adolescents' growing up, their sexual desire and all the incidents and problems associated with it: only ' pies' a total of 8 parts were filmed, 4 of which were indirect and did not get on the screens. The Germans did not stay away from the current trend and released their original plot idea dilogy ' Ants in pants' and then pulled up and ours, removing ' Youth' with ' Russian soul', our mentality and attributes of classical concepts about Russia - ' No one knows about sex' There were also films that received in the Russian box office, thanks to their content, titles 'Italian Pie' and French ' ' ' and French'' Most comedies of this type focused on guys, so they became famous for jokes on the theme of the male genitals, which caused some laughter and fun, others disgust and outrage. In 'Pies', however, let the girls talk out, who were also worried about their entry into the female ranks, but this was not enough, mostly all frank dialogue was conducted by guys. And, when 19 years have passed since the release of the first part of the vulgar film, which deserved to be called the high word ' classic', and after the release of the final part ' All in the collection' - 6 years, there were people who decided to raise the already worn topic again and finally reveal on the screen all the secrets about what they say and what they intend to do graduates , who, like the unforgettable Jim, Oz, Kevin and Finch, wanted at any cost to part with virginity before the graduation, or at the last night prom. But, if the loss of virginity of guys is often facilitated by parents (who does not remember the legendary patron of worried teenagers - Jim's dad?), then everything is exactly the opposite with girls - and this is the focus of the new film, released in the era of smartphones and the Internet, which will help the parents of three determined graduates to find out everything about their far-reaching plans and make every attempt to destroy them.
Little boys curl their fingers,
Little girls believe them, yeah.
Wear a dress and roll in cars -
Stay away from someone until morning.
In the one-year film of the first ' American Pie' - a less frank, but no less cheerful and colorful comedy '10 Reasons for My Hate' there was something indirectly reminiscent of this new film I am describing: we saw how a strict father did not let two daughters go to a party and put them on a strict condition for permission to go to a party where there can be not only alcohol, but also drugs. In terms of the latter in this film in 2018, the Americans showed in all its glory the utter ugliness, which, as we see, successfully spreads to schoolchildren - on the screen in a positive project it looks funny, and very funny, since the scriptwriters tried to turn all the obscenities into a great good joke - but, of course, it is not very fun to realize that there are so many healthy happy people in life ' they are looking for an artificial high to better insert' , using everything, you do not necessarily, you can cook your life, and often do it. In the film, you have to forget about the serious and have fun at the sight of the madness that is happening, which is committed as crazy teenagers (and in one scene they are forced to do the most vile thing of one of the parents to whom the original English title of the film is dedicated), and adults who are ready to sweep away everything in their path, as long as no one touches their daughters where they are and where they are going. But, if on the way they have not only the desire of growing children to have sex, but also the real feelings that are present here, let them not pay as much attention as in ' pies' - then this will become more difficult to resist.
Boys and girls score arrows.
The radio promises: "Friday, hurrah!"
White ribbons penetrate the cells.
I am sure that love has come.
In the film, you will not just watch the funny casual situations that the parents of the girls will get stuck in, following their daughters on their heels, trying to track their location using smartphones - you will hear killer jokes and parallels about ' Furious' and make sure that the popularity of the ones you hate ' Twilight' is finally over; it will seem like a spoonful of tar to many people making LGBT propaganda mandatory in America, but I can assure you that these films are not particularly challenging, if we want to watch these new ones. Humor in the film, despite its increased frankness and various intimate details, in fact is far from stupid, jokes here often sound in huge quantities as if from a cornucopia during verbal skirmishes of heroes, so this time there is no reason to indignate ' stupid Americans' and the situations themselves, occurring at every step, please with their originality and wit, even if they border on complete madness. The film fully copes with its task, the main of which was - maybe, as it should make everyone laugh, or maybe to shoot a quality comedy about puberty of girls - in any case, at an excellent level it turned out both.
How stupid can the plot be? How many ' acute & #39; social issues can be muzzled in one movie? How bad is it to reveal the motivation of the characters of the picture?
These questions swirled in my head while watching 'Sex will not '. By the way, localizers again spoiled the name, which can be translated as ' Blockers', well, if you adapt, then ' Blockers' much closer to the original source. But I got distracted.
The characters of the picture, as it is now fashionable - three women, with this phrase I try to reveal one of the problems raised in this creation. Namely, gender equality in any form, be it the freedom to choose sexual orientation, or the opportunity to get the first sexual experience at the prom. On the other side there are three other heroes, the parents of these people, who are trying to prevent the inevitable evil, which is not really evil, and in general they have become entangled in themselves and their feelings, and have forgotten how to raise children and solve problems in a normal way. Well, of course, otherwise the adventure would not have happened, so take for granted the absolute inadequacy of most of their actions and decisions and here you have the whole plot! There is nothing more to say about these attempts of writers to squeeze at least some humor out of the situation. Attempts to make the viewer laugh are based on vulgar and stupid sketches inside the film and they are connected by white threads.
Now about the issues raised, I can only mention what I have personally noticed: racism, sexism and gender discrimination, homophobia, the problem of fathers and children, adultery, alcoholism, drug addiction, careless attitude to sexual relations, depression due to oppression by society ... Probably missed something, but what is enough for an Oscar nomination, strange that it did not happen. True, all these points are disclosed in such a way that it seems that the authors deliberately tried to cause dislike to everyone who is concerned with similar problems. Especially striking is the theme of the lesbian relationship, it is literally poked in the face, from this at the end of the film you begin to feel a bout of homophobia, which I had not noticed before in relation to lesbians.
As a result, I do not recommend this picture for viewing. There is no humor as such, there is nothing to laugh at, but there are bad actors whose attempts look hypertrophied, so they did not enter their roles. And don't tell me that's how comedy should be, no, no, no, no. We, the audience should not feel comedic at the expense of distorting human emotions, or rather they, these distortions, should be, but organically woven into what is happening, so that it looks natural. It is worth remembering the films with Louis de Funes, his game is also hypertrophied emotions, but at the same time it complements and improves what is happening, and not vice versa.
Of course, it can be worse, so ...

In pursuit of children, so that they do not make unintentional mistakes.
'Sex will not!!!' - a typical passing comedy of American production, which comes out with a good dozen a year. Honestly, even the adapted name for our rental is some kind of repulsive, well, we could translate the original ' Blockers' as, say, ' Prevent!' or ' In any case!', why such a pretentious and somewhat intimate name? However, this is not the only trouble of the film, not the most star-studded cast also attracts little. Among all the actors and actresses more or less known name Leslie Mann, who has long established himself as an actress of one role, and her fame she should be grateful to her husband Judd Apatow, who loves to shoot his wife in his films, would he be there as a director, screenwriter or producer, and shoots Apatow films just in the same vein, in which staged and 'Sex will not!!!'
However, despite all the claims that there is a place to be, the picture grossed a little more than $ 94 million at the global box office, despite the fact that it was spent only 21 million to create it. This is explained quite easily - the film had aggressive advertising propaganda, and the release time was adjusted well - spring, when anyone expects the arrival of heat, which means the mood rises, and such a fleeting entertaining film as ' Sex will not!!!' it may well accelerate its rise. Yes, this comedy is a one-time entertainment with worn-out images and concept, but why not have fun with the tape from the category 'caliph for the hour'? And your girlfriend can be reduced to such nonsense. You don’t think I’m being aggressive about the film, it’s all about being kind and condescending. Not a sample of the genre, of course, this film, but it is also frankly bad to call it. A kind of one-day comedy that can lift someone's mood, which, apparently, was the calculation of its creators.
As mentioned above, the main star of the film is Leslie Mann. She again plunged into such a thoroughly studied her own element that again convincingly plays a very caring mother, trying to discourage her daughter from reckless step. The younger generation may not like this image, even if this mother is some real Velcro, and the young so want freedom. Only the heroine Mann in 'Sex will not!!!' there are obvious excesses, but this can be attributed to the fact that this image is collective, like anecdotes, consisting of stereotypes, but in any case, such a mother can be forgiven. Unexpectedly liked in the comedy role of verzil John Sena, a former wrestler, remembered for dilogy 'Hello Dad, New Year!'. Once Arnold Schwarzenegger showed himself a talented comedian ('Twins') and Dwayne Johnson was also not bad ('Treasure of the Amazon'), so the regiment of muscular bodybuilders, memorable played in comedy, arrived. Famous comedian Ike Barinholz was not bad on the prank, but often fell into the shadow of Mann and Seine.
But there are negative moments in the picture. The most disgusting moment was the second scene, where they managed to show the male genitals on the whole screen. I'm sorry, but we're not watching a porn movie, but a comedy designed for family viewing. Admittedly, it was disgusting and it is a huge question about the fantasy of director Kay Cannon, who debuted as the main director. We decided to make fun of John Sena, when in a funny scene, according to the filmmakers, he had to take a decent amount of alcohol through, forgive me again, the anus. No, guys, this is not fun, this is bullying, and for an adult, experienced and intelligent person it is also a shame, and here it is directly presented with some admiration. Ah, times, ah, morals... And forced to wearily brush off another passage towards the LGBT community, when applause is greeted by a coming-out. You do not know how to relate to this, whether to be angry, whether to laugh, or to accept, but, honestly, I am very tired!
Relating all the pros and cons of the comedy 'Sex will not!!!', we can still say that this is not the worst picture in the genre, but it was not without flaws. This is a completely recognizable comedy, recently they are very similar to each other, but, nevertheless, they still have their audience. Sometimes they even make you smile, but they hardly claim more than a one-time viewing, but for this the creators ' There will be no Sex!!' will be grateful.

Comedy is a genre in demand always and despite the rapidly declining level of quality, any comedy film manages to find its viewer one way or another, whether it is the refined humor of Woody Allen, a new nativity from Judd Apatow, worn-out Sandler's gags or comedies for feminists from Amy Schumer. The next project with the original plot was staged by the screenwriter of the trilogy 'Perfect Voice' Kay Cannon is based on the script by the Kehoe Brothers who have not yet taken place.
The plot of the picture will tell about the grandiose plans of three high school girls at the prom and no less grandiose attempts of their parents to disrupt these plans.
The plot of the picture is quite original, despite the seeming primitiveness, but hey, when the first opuses of youth comedies were considered an example of bad taste, but entered the history of the genre as a benchmark. And this happened not only in the late 90s, but also in the distant 70s-80s, when youth comedy films could not be imagined without female nudity and sexual background. Echoes the originality of the idea no less original name on the poster, skillfully playing running slang visually. Can this picture be called vulgar? Hell, hell, yeah! But, where there are disadvantages of the inherent jokes below the belt, the plinth and the capabilities of the vestibular apparatus of a healthy person, there is something more. Although in this film there are a number of mind-blowing gags that can amuse the most fastidious viewer. What is a great merit of the caste: the wife of the great or simply terrible Judd Appatow Leslie Mann, a rather monotonous role of Ike Barinholz and the incredible five-ton charisma of wrestler John Cena, who proved that the Rock in the future can become crowded on the pedestal of an athlete from comedies. In general, if it were not for the rating of R, & #39; Sex will not be & #39; you could call a rather cute family comedy that raises issues of parent-child relations, the search for their place in the world, sexual education, of course, and issues of same-sex relationships. And even here, the liberal agenda looks as human as possible in contrast to hundreds of paintings, pestering the viewer with LGBT flags directly in the face.
Definitely, ' There will be no Sex' perhaps not the best example of the genre, but for the debut of the not yet fledgling creative team, this film is very well executed and deserves a sequel.
+: Plot, caste, dynamics, humor.
-: The presence of pnosortyrene and perisexual humor leaves a bad aftertaste and is able to lubricate the overall impression.
Plot: Three graduate girls enter into a sex pact that will cement their already fundamental friendship with a shared experience. But something goes wrong - and now the ancestors are chasing them around the town, breaking into parties and even into other people's homes. And all in order to loudly punch the table and say: “Sex will not!”
Actors all of us are already familiar from various good and not very comedies - this is Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz and John Cena. Here they are confronted by another three: young and (yet?) not very famous, from which it is difficult to distinguish anyone except blonde Catherine Newton – probably because it was her heroine who got the most lyrical role, devoid of the fate of stupid grimaces (unlike movie girlfriends).
Relevance? A little bit. Somewhere in passing touch the problems of sexual education of adolescents. Feminism flashes in the face of the mother of one of the girls, but here it is foolishly ridiculed and generally strangely presented, alas. One of the central plot lines is devoted to the topic of LGBT, while in conjunction with interracial relations (this tolerant tradition is already developing). Plus the ubiquitous social media, gadgets and so on. It seems that the directors decided to stick everything here and immediately, completely forgetting about the characters - in the end, the motivation for their actions is not always clear, and it also seems that modern teenagers speak only the language of emoji (which, of course, is very stupid and incorrect).
More flaws. Vomiting, especially massive - a long-forgotten, extremely unsuccessful (at least in our days) script cliché. But that didn’t stop the creators from “seasoning” their film with such a scene. To be honest, it was disgusting and extremely stupid. Words cannot describe it, you have to see it. That’s why I’m willing to take a lot of credit.
General impression: You can watch the film, and if you do not think about it, then even more so. Sometimes funny, but not quite exciting, in places - kick-ass, as banal. There’s a 99% chance you won’t want to watch a movie on TV, recommend it to your friends, or buy it on Blu-ray. But if you want to kill an hour and a half, it will do. In general, the average is 5 out of 10, and then I wonder, is not much?
Good alternatives: "American Pie" (Dad Jim is definitely funnier), "Men, women and children" (about social networks and messengers), "Skam" Norwegian (about children and everything at once).
The theme of the first sex gradually exhausts itself in all genres, but this is especially true of the comic genre: after all, no matter how you spin, most often, what everyone expects with a mixture of hidden desire, fear and book romantic illusions, is recalled with laughter. And if the mastodons of the genre of teen sex comedy went out on the number (but not always the quality) of funny jokes, then Cannon, as the name suggests, will not have sex. If it's funny, let's see.
We have a female view of the situation, so first of all the picture should be compared not with “American Pie”, but rather with the German dilogy “Girls from Above”. However, cinema is now developing towards deep psychological analysis, so that the script not only plays out the doubts and emotional torments of girls before a serious step in their lives, but also actively involves parents in what is happening. It is their state of mind - anxiety for children, the desire to arrange their lives as best as possible, on the experience of personal achievements and mistakes - that is the leitmotif of the film. Laughter is laughter, and without useful lessons was not done: you should not project your problems on children, arrange their lives taking into account their own conveniences and try to protect them from inevitable mistakes, through which, in fact, experience is acquired.
Yes, the filling of this cake is very serious. Outwardly, the morality of the tape is clothed in frivolous clothes, and there is something to laugh at here, although there is no need to talk about the humor of the highest standard. Most of the funniest moments are included in the trailer; in addition to them, we recall only the sexual games of spouses over forty, saturated with humor for three hundred, and even attempts to arrange “Fast and Furious”, which end predictably sadly. The theme and rating quite allowed the creators of the picture to walk around; a little more effort - and it would be a wonderful comedy that has chances over time to replenish the ranks, though not cult, but classics.
The cast turned out to be good: Leslie Mann, charismatic John Cena (playing on contrasts will never go out of fashion) and brilliantly got used to the role of Ike Barinholtz, who has three daughters, so he clearly imagines the state of mind of his hero. Teenage girls on the screen embodied less well-known, but full of youthful charm Catherine Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan and Gideon Adlon. They already have a certain acting school behind them, and it feels like they play freely and emancipated.
A little annoying deliberate tolerance, a little lack of good humor in the proper amount for comedy, but as a tutorial for parents experiencing an unaccountable fear of the wires of children in the great swim, the film is definitely good. Such tapes are usually forgotten a week after viewing, while the lessons learned from them live in memory much longer.
With its greasy jokes and pure non-stop exploitation of sexual themes, "There Will Be No Sex!!!" is able to satisfy those who have missed the tough, uncompromising comedy. Given that even the original name "Cockblockers" has been changed for obvious reasons, you should expect a spectacle not for young eyes, although it is teenagers who are in the spotlight here. A mixture of sexual comedy in the best traditions of Judd Apatow (even his wife Leslie Mann took part) and, oddly enough, something soulful in the style of John Hughes resulted in “Sex will not!!!”, the script of which invites us to the bedroom of teenagers and their parents. In the end, the plot even gets points for revealing what is rarely talked about: the need to let the child go free swimming after 18 years of upbringing.
Three best friends Julia, Kayla and Samantha make a sex pact and want to part with their innocence on prom night. Their parents decide to stop them, although high school students are always one step ahead. As a result, characteristic parents find themselves in various and often humiliating situations in order to preserve the honor of their daughters.
Strictly speaking, the overall script consists of two parts, two storylines. In the first, girls try to retire with young people, attend uncontrolled parties of other teenagers, etc. In the second, parents undertake various activities to find their daughters. The obsessive behavior of ancestors says more about their own emotional insecurity than the real dangers their offspring may face. This is a clever twist on teenage sex comedy because, by and large, well, except for a couple of moments, the kids are fine and do nothing reprehensible.
Comedy is something that probably comes to all the viewers of “No Sex!” And here, alas, everything is ambiguous. This is a typical 18+ movie about teenagers trying to have sex: a lot of vulgarity, nudity, drugs and alcohol, buckets of vomiting, etc. Needless to say, the evaluation of this comedy depends on the viewer's enjoyment of watching. In fact, the script, in terms of humor, is good enough to please fans, but not so exciting to impress those who do not digest such films.
The most prominent actor in No Sex!! was, suddenly, John Cena. He plays a kind of emotionally vulnerable but disciplined guy who is ready to clench his fists at any moment. He continues to rationalize everything, even when he is obviously cheated, and is somewhat reminiscent of Schwarzenegger from the latter's comedy films. Most of the funniest moments have to do with Cena’s character, and the humor is not in the situation, but rather in how the situation is presented and how such an interesting character reacts to it. As for the other actors, Katherine Newton is the most experienced of the “young trio” of actresses, and she is very pretty. Gideon Adlon is a young copy of his mum Pamela Adlon, and Geraldine Visvantahan has good comedic charisma.
Despite its crude humor and often obscene comedy, “There’s No Sex!!!” is actually about parents giving teenagers some freedom, and teens need to be guided by adults’ decisions and held accountable for their actions. On the other hand, many... plot decisions in the film are questionable, and family values are not always possible to convey because of provocative jokes, although it seems that there are quite a lot of ideas here: the relationship between parents and children, the adoption of sexual orientation of offspring, healthy sexual relations in married couples and much more. A few rough jokes can put off viewing, but surprisingly touching moments between parents and children, who learn to respect each other, strengthen the rarefied comedic context of the project.

Typical comedy, but not the worst, even better than many other comedies
Comedy on the theme of teenagers, graduations, schools, colleges of their fathers and mothers has already been filmed a very large number. There are good-level comedies, there are low-grade comedies with vulgar jokes and debauchery.
This film also refers to the above type of films, but unlike other typical vulgar comedies, this film contains a meaning that should be understood by all teenage school children, especially when it comes to sex and the loss of virginity. It was also very interesting to see how two fathers (one of them performed by John Cena) try to awkwardly explain to their daughters how important the first sex in life and the loss of virginity is, and just the character of John Cena was the most interesting and memorable. Also, the film shows the relationship between parents and their children, parents are afraid for their children that the first sexual experience may be sad for their children, and children are excited by this event and try to plan everything.
"Sex will not" - on the one hand, a typical American comedy about teenagers and their parents with elements of vulgar jokes, vulgarities, but at the same time in this film has a good sense, a good adult cast and a greater share of laughter.

Another typical American comedy, which nevertheless stands out against the background of other recently released films of this genre and has much more reason to spend 102 minutes of your life.
The plot, as is often the case, revolves around a prom, loss of virginity and a "step into adulthood." But at the same time, the main theme of the film is not this, but the complexity of the relationship between teenagers and their parents (not to say that greatly adds originality to the film, but still, there is no groundwork for the main message for the film).
Correspondence of the main characters, and here it is the heroines, not the heroes, which also adds originality to the plot, accidentally read their parents and at all costs decide to "prevent the irreparable."
So what's pulling this movie out? Mainly the color of the characters. And not only parents, although the character of John Cena (playing the role of a caring father here) is still worth mentioning separately, but also about the characters of the main characters - Julia, Samantha and Kayla. They all turned out different and it is interesting to watch their actions.
The humor is generally kind and almost family, except for the scene with John Cena’s anal and a couple of standard gag comedies about vomiting. The plot (by the standards of American youth of course) is original, the characters are alive, there is no blatant obscenity, there is some morality and at the end of the film the characters change. Anyone who did not overestimate expectations and expected a good comedy will get it, and perhaps even more.

This gorgeous comedy about how three girlfriends decided to lose their virginity on their prom. Of course, when their parents found out about it, they rebelled and decided to ruin their daughters party. In this comedy about eternal prom, I liked the fresh zhlob (designed for 16+ teenagers) jokes about sex, about alcohol parties. The director of this comedy is a woman (Kay Cannon). She styled her film American Pie (1999) and made jokes like "Dad Jim."
There are a lot of fresh jokes in the movie. The topic of “first sex during the prom” is very relevant for teenagers (especially Western countries: in Muslim countries, this topic is trying to ignore) of graduation classes. There is an opinion that the loss of virginity at the prom is a symbol of good luck for the progressive youth of the West. The parents in the film are exposed as clowns that interfere with girls-daughters in the struggle of the sexes, preventing their emancipation.
The film is politically correct for people of different skin and nationality. In the film, women’s rights are shown in all their glory. There is a crying father in the film (men also do not need to be ashamed of their feelings and tears). The film teaches young girls to openly declare their desire to satisfy sexual needs. Girls want to make love too!! And they will not hurt any parent: sex can only interfere with the modesty of the girl.
Also in this comedy is ridiculed youth jargon through emoji. Teenagers constantly communicate through messengers, they are even lazy to write: they do emoji. Emoji began to replace words for adolescents: they are very capacious and are understood only by peers, not old-parents.
A movie is a prom instruction. All conservative, family values are ridiculed in this comedy. Long live the emancipation of young girls.

Among the unimaginable number of comedy films that come out every year and, albeit from a smaller but impressive series of films that get to the big screens, very few, surprisingly, turn out to be worthy of attention. Let’s call things by their proper names – we go to the cinema for such comedies, being aware of their content and lack of semantic load. Blockers is the story of three American high school graduates who are concerned about losing their innocence on prom night. But behind the vulgar jokes below the belt is a trio of cute girls and the second trio contrasting different parents. Characters are more than “once” through whose eyes the story is told, and provide an hour and a half of quite good mood.
Although the prerogative of the older three heroes is obvious, their young children do not just occupy screen time. Julia, Samantha and Kayla, despite their high-profile plans for a sex pact, do not look like debauched graduates. Each of the heroines came out in their own way cute, which is surprising for such a comedy. Not that I want to see a solo film about each of the girls, but in the frame they look quite harmonious and really look like childhood friends. The problems of growing up seventeen-year-olds take on new forms, as there is less time before dawn after graduation. The irony of the modern world of social networks and messengers, pop culture and the change of generations are played out in full measure, from the first scenes.
If three girls are driven by the natural processes of growing up and solving pressing graduation problems, their parents are overcome by fear. Fear for the innocence of the daughters, in this case, becomes only an emotional screen. Mitch, Lisa and Hunter, each in their own way, fear change. They are even more afraid that part of their lives will be lost forever and that the heavy burden of loneliness will be pressed ever harder. Three completely different characters, of which the most self-irony falls on the hero John Senn. A good-natured pumped dad in shorts and a checkered shirt provides here an overwhelming amount of humor in the "adult" storyline. Night quest in search of their children turns into an adventure. During the rental I succeeded to go to the movie twice, having a good time.

The comedy with a rather interesting title 'Sex will not!!!' was released in our country just at a time when most students are finishing school and preparing for proms. Perhaps it was the right decision, and although the film has already collected a good box office, there is a feeling that it could have been bigger, if it had been released in May. But you can’t fix it, so let’s look at what’s already there. A very funny trailer was enough for me to watch this movie.
In fact, this is another story of the relationship between parents and their children, in this case daughters. Only this time, attention is focused on a very piquant topic - before the prom evening, adult girls decide to end their virginity and at all costs have the first sex in their lives. And it all started with the fact that one of them, going to the party, just forgot to close his laptop, and unsuspecting parents ' accidentally ' saw correspondence heroines. And here we go. They start chasing their daughters to prevent them from carrying out their plans. The problem is that it is difficult to blame any of them, because each parent has their own problems. The first is overly caring, the second is a single mother, the third is divorced. They do not yet have the full awareness that the children have grown up and are not ready to let them go free. The daughters are also not all smooth: they suffer from too close attention of parents, in addition, one of them understands that in the so-called “Sex Pact” & #39; it is purely formal, and can not yet decide with whom she wants to build a relationship.
Each actor turned out his own special character, and they coped very well. Lesley Mann embodied the ideal single mother, John Cena - obsessed with sports, but at the same time very emotional person, Ike Barinholz - the most groovy and one of the most sober parents. Actresses who played growing up daughters also showed themselves well: they did not overplay or underplay.
For the most part, the jokes sounded and shown in the film were vulgar and even too vulgar, but periodically they were diluted with rather witty humor. A pleasant addition was an extremely funny scene after the credits began.
' There will be no sex!!!' is a classic American comedy of the category '18+' raising the issue of growing up and sexual formation of a person at the proper level. It will go to the viewing.
No Sex!!! is a typical American comedy about teenagers and their sexual desires. This time the story is built around three girlfriends, graduates of school, who are on the threshold of a separate life from their parents.
Combat baptism - loss of virginity - the heroines, each for their own reasons, decide to pass at the prom. At the same time, it is shown how the parents of the girls are experiencing an approaching breakup with their children and ... begin to go a little crazy.
The adult characters in the film come to the fore, which gives it the features of uniqueness, because we see two sides, older and younger, which alternately at some points demonstrate reasonable behavior, and at some - fall into inadequacy. And those and those living people: teenagers are still children, but try to make decisions for themselves, and adults live the life of independent people, but periodically fool around. For example, in parents rises a single impulse to interfere with the plan of the daughters and prevent them, in their opinion, to make a big mistake.
The role of parents was played by Leslie Mann, known for his roles in similar comedies, Ike Barinholz, an American comedian whom you could see in the “Mount Creator”, and John Cena, wrestler of All America. They played almost better than the young colleagues who played the roles of the daughters of the heroes – Catherine Newton from the series “Supernatural”, Gideon Adlon from the series “Think like a criminal” and Geraldine Viswanathan, known for her work in projects of Australian production.
What is typical for such comedies, there is a large number of greasy jokes, but it is worth noting that on hearing they are not too vulgar and stupid. Even with their abundance, the film manages to look relatively cute and funny. Relatively, because it's strange to see girls so focused on wanting to lose their innocence and so openly talking about it. The filmmakers seem to be delighted that they were able to show that the topic is no less relevant for girls than for guys, but still, in my opinion, they overdid it.
In some places, parents also don’t look too believable, as if the cuckoo has gone off or they don’t know the approach to their daughters at all. In the course of the plot, everyone creates unimaginable game in the style of vulgar comedies, and the reality of what is happening is questioned.
In general, with the exception of a couple of jokes and scenes about vomiting and anal, "There will be no sex!!!" shows a pleasant humor for which there is no shame. All the madnesses of parents are played out, albeit thickly, but the images do not fall apart. The most charming, perhaps, look the characters of Ike Barinholtz and John Cena. Their fathers are very embarrassed to respond to the need to talk to their daughters candidly, and in general it is noticeable how uncomfortable they are in everything that is happening. The heroine Leslie Mann, the leader of the mini-detachment, plays a more familiar role of a nervous lady with small jumps and non-standard ideas about the world.
It’s hardly worth preparing to see something original if you’re going to watch No Sex!!!, but it’s still a good option to laugh and relax.
Could a movie with three exclamation points and the word "sex" in the title be a good one? Sometimes it seems that our localizers try to make the title of the imported film as unattractive as possible. Apparently, they are fulfilling the order of the Ministry of Culture on the promotion of domestic films by reducing foreign screenings. However, the original "Blockers" is even less digestible. It may be saying something to an English-speaking viewer (judging by the cock on the credits), but some more adequate translation is needed in Russia. I must say that this time the localizers were not mistaken with the degree of vulgarity of the name.
Sex is a thing allowed, like alcohol, for children after the age of nine. It's from a parent's point of view. From the point of view of children, high school graduation is the time when virginity must be destroyed. And we are not talking about love and other feelings that are not related to primary sexual characteristics. Physiology, nothing more.
Some time ago, the pioneer of physiological films about deprivation of virginity for prom became “American Pie” (American Pie, 1999). He acquired a bunch of sequels and imitations, the main characters of which were male teenagers. In our feminist age, teenage girls want equal rights with boys. And so we are talking about the deprivation of virginity of three girls-girlfriends at their school graduation.
Parents, of course, are in shock and are going to oppose this act with all available (and not so) means. The older generation is represented by the great comedy actress Leslie Mann ("The Other Woman, 2014, Big Dad, 1999), the famous comedian Ike Barinholtz ("Neighbours on the War Path, 2014, The Mindy Project, 2012-17) and ex-wrestler John Cena ("12 rounds, 2009, The Wall, 2017). Siné seems to be haunted by Dwayne Rock Johnson's laurels, and he struggles to make faces in attempts to make his looks a little more ridiculous. That's not good. Barinholtz comes out a little better, thanks to years of training the corresponding muscles of the face. Leslie Mann is the only one of the three not making faces, but playing a real role. Her single mother is obsessed with giving her daughter the perfect life and perfect family, but she is terrified that after moving her daughter to a college dorm, all her efforts will be in vain. Parents met and became friends when their daughters were small, defenseless and charming bunnies. Since then, time has passed, and parents suddenly realized that they do not even understand what they are talking about on the Internet.
This is an absolutely stupid film, with no hint of any thoughts. Parents are more conservative about sex than children. Time flies too fast, “old people” do not have time, young people do not want to spend time to understand those who, in their opinion, are outdated, and sex was, is and will always be. Puberty is a time when the brain is fixated on the genitals and physiologically related waste disposal systems. The older generation, trying to understand their children, goes into all seriousness, actually voicing their teenage sexual nightmares. It looks stupid, it's gross and it's disgusting. But everything is very vivid and fun. At the same time, the authors managed to bring a touch of nostalgia for the crazy time when the word “ass” excited no less than “college”.
For both generations, the time of school graduation is a period of parting with childhood and children's ideas about life. Some people think that the next is emptiness. Someone has a new, real life. Director Kay Cannon combines in the film very emotional moments associated with the possible loss of his child during his growing up, with physiologically repulsive jokes. These two keys are so different from each other that at least cause confusion. It seems that the writers took two different films, and as a result decided to save and make one. Sexual jokes here in bulk, and in general the film looks very cheerful and energetic. And it justifies the 18+ rating. It is strange that he was photographed by a woman. Women directors are not usually associated with sex comedies. But it seems that it is the female view of the emotional content of typically male content that has made it more or less watchable. Otherwise, this is a standard American goose comedy with vomit, fart and a naked dick.
Tipping night or sex pact as a guarantee of a long friendship
Yes, this is another American comedy full of vulgarities and absurdities. So if you are a guardian of innocence and order, this film is not for you.
The story of three girlfriends who decided to lose their virginity on prom night and their negligent parents, trying to protect their children from rash actions, conceals little more than just a “dumb comedy background.” Many people recognize themselves here, because schoolchildren of any country are practically no different from each other, including the belief that adulthood comes from the moment of parting with virginity.
There's a beautiful adult cast here. Three different and such real heroes who make you blush and laugh uncontrollably. The relationship between children and their parents is sufficiently deep. In addition, the writers were able to reveal the topic of determining sexual orientation and the importance of sex as such in people’s lives.
If you want to have a good time without thinking about the idleness of being, if you are not disgusted by drunken teenagers, vomiting, vulgar jokes and other ugliness, then this film will make you laugh from the heart.
