There is something in this, the main thing is to understand that. Santiago Menghini's short meter "Intruders" is a rather unusual piece. One of the variants of the translation of its name, “Uninvited guests”, which perfectly suits the theme of this picture. Another translation of “criminals” would not be so accurate here.
In this meter we see 2 different stories, in which the only thing you will find similar is "uninvited", if I may say so, 2 acting characters. The basis of this meter, judging by information from the Internet, lay comics 2 illustrators, the first is Uno Morales (this is the pseudonym of the Russian artist Stas Orlov) and the second is Al Colombia. You can easily find their drawings on the Internet, from which the idea for the film was taken (in the Internet I found illustrations from which one of the stories was completely copied, in the same way, I think you can find the drawings that were the basis for the second story of the meter).
What I can point out is that it’s a very specific piece and it’s not likely to go to most people, and even those who like it are unlikely to know what it is about (I’m one of them). Maybe Menghini had some meaning in the film, or maybe he just wanted to make a movie adaptation of a comic book he liked. In any case, despite the supposed meaninglessness of this picture, what you can definitely note is its visual, one of the best pictures I have ever seen, even in feature films you can find a bunch of examples where the budget is larger and the picture is worse.
So, if you sum up, this picture is more of a visual project than a semantic one. While I'm not denying that anyone can find something here, something like me, for example, is a feature of short films. Her various awards at film festivals are well deserved. Despite the “vagueness” of logic, I certainly put a plus on this picture, at least for the visual.
