We think, so we exist. Again, Toei amazes us with his creation. This is a great season.
Where do you start with your thoughts about this season?
First of all, with its amazing atmosphere. This season’s riders’ confrontations have created a wonderful atmosphere that I have never seen in any season.
Secondly, the riders themselves. They're just amazing.
Takeru Tenkuji (Kamen Ryder Gost) is an amazing top rider. The writers (I’ll come back to this later) wrote it perfectly. It successfully managed to add many of the qualities of some past riders, while not overdoing the stick, as was the case with the previous main characters. And a little naivety (Gime), and a desire to be friends (Forze) and a little more from each.
Makoto Fukami (Kamen Ryder Spectre) is once again an amazing rider. Brutal, strong, noble. At first, for his sister's sake, Makoto walked over the heads of friends. Makoto went from being an egotistical rider to being a noble friend of Tucker and Alan willing to sacrifice his life for his friends.
And another amazing rider is Alan (Kamen Ryder Nekrom). Alan's development as a character simply surpassed Gost and Spectre combined by two or three times. Like Makoto, Alan from cynical, convinced of his rightness and despising living people, turned into a much more noble person.
We end up with three pure-hearted, noble riders. These are people who have gone through the path of hostility, hatred, envy and many negative feelings for each other, while being in the past great friends and again becoming such for each other.
Drawing a line on riders. We make three purest hearts and minds of heroes. Which is a huge plus.
Other characters should be mentioned.
Sennin (Edith) (Kamen Ryder Dark Gost) is a character trying to stop a war from two fronts. Comedy, he is just like Onari, only brought more benefit and is quite a good cosplayer.
Perhaps the most memorable is Adele. Claimed to be the main villain from the middle of the season, but thanks to Tucker repented of his mistakes and asked for forgiveness from his family... or what was left of her.
There were two more characters that became memorable: Jabel and Igor. They all blindly followed orders, but they also stood up against the system. And in the end, they got a happy ending.
Akari Tsukimura, as they say, "rider-chan." You're such a tech guy. Quite a fun character. In some situations, riders won thanks to Akari.
Onari Yamanouchi is a character to laugh about. But it was also useful. And his transformation into the Necroma caused a storm of positive emotions. In general, Onari left an unusual aftertaste. Like a clown who can piss off at some points and seems to be useful.
Canon Fukami is the culprit of Makoto’s disgusting behavior. As a character written average, but she actually did not affect the plot after his resurrection. Therefore, to blame the writers for such a weak character is rather stupid.
There are two furniture characters, Shibuya and Narita. Just so you can.
And of course, a huge plus in the soundtrack of this season. He's just amazing. Lots of good tunes. And there's another plus. In fact, there were no dilogies, which was stuffed with Drive.
But without a spoon of tar in a barrel of honey.
It's very big here. Everything was amazing before Mugen came along and during his debut series. In the subsequent series, there was a strong sagging of the plot. Which greatly affected the season. Most likely, the blame for this lies with the writers (there were three of them here) and the plot just went hand in hand, thereby slowing down.
Overall, the story was quite strong. The Ryders didn't physically pump up like they did the season before. We got three absolutely positive riders closer to the final. It may be a bit naive, but after being so cruel to the extra riders, the last two seasons, it’s like a breath of fresh air.
