Guard! IMDb's rating - freaked out and it's hot! Bring the plantain! Again, there was an opportunity to write a review where for some reason no one has yet written them, although there are reasons and oh what else. And this is what prompted me to suddenly take up watching this Turkish military & #39;blogbuster' (well, not otherwise), although I am not a fan of Turkish films. Well, let's go with them.
First, the IMDb rating, which immediately catches the eye, as unrealistically high even for very good films. But that’s not all, as IMDb was even higher in the early days of the film’s release – 9.9 or so. The inquisitive mind immediately saw this strangeness, especially knowing how our filmmakers love to perform miracles already with the rating of Kinopoisk. Even more confusion caused the number of voters, which at the time of writing reviews reaches more than a hundred thousand (100,000) . Whoa, whoa, whoa. And that's what I thought.
Despite this, in the course of analysis, I found that this is not the first film where such a wondrous victory is made, it turns out that there are still candidates there, and with a huge difference in our rating and the local IMDb. Isn't that a miracle? That's right.
Second budget: 2,000,000 Turkish liras. The inquisitive mind again immediately transferred everything to our wooden ones for simplicity of understanding and it turned out that at the beginning of 2016, where the rate of the Turkish lira was about 22 rubles and higher, it turns out - 44,000,000 rubles. How! I don't think it's too big or too small for this country, but still.
What about the movie itself?
Well, personally, in my opinion, this is a typical hurrah patriotic film with a jump on Hollywood clichés and a script about brave warriors for good and justice. From realistic combat there is almost nothing, except that kind of a real Abrams tank blew up (probably not) and thank you. Further, the girl who is being rescued by the warriors begins to compost their brains, speaks unimaginable nonsense, they say you need to enter the war, so that their guys would also be beaten at the same time. Brilliant! Insults his saviors, and generally behaves defiantly, as if she were their commander and commander. There is a second maid, to which our soldier is trying to roll, but she picks up the flag first and also with a confident face carries an arrogant slob, cites as an example some strange turtle, and all with the appearance of a stiff psychological, which makes it immediately clear that she was recently released from the fool. If she didn't have a pretty face, a normal man would have sent her away a long time ago. What is wrong with these women in the film?
During the fight, specialty philosophizes off the topic and quotes poetry, well, of course I do. A little bit about tactics, standing in the open without shelter is a sure death, but since it's a tracing from Hollywood, that's the norm. And of course, where without heroism, where the Turkish soldiers will run hordes exceeding them in number many times dull fools, but those with strained pathos, courageously repel the offensive. There are a lot of crazy scenes, even for a movie like this. I remember something similar in a lot of American military films, here you and ' Tears of the Sun' (very similarly), and 'Survivor' and 'Save Private Ryan' and so on, where one in one were in brazenly hidden individual moments, it is the spores
.
In general, everything is so sweet, template and playful that it pulls to constantly rewind this whole mess. But no, we're tough, we'll manage, we'll keep watching. And with our teeth clasped, we go through such a highly rated blockbuster to the end, not seeing anything from the high rating that we put on IMDb by no one knows who. No, I almost know. Presumably, this is who, most likely, were those Turkish soldiers who ordered to look at the well-known movie site and paid a debt to their homeland, giving a huge number of votes, and since the film was only they watched in the majority, the result is not surprising. Here's the secret, and you probably thought it was a masterpiece that slipped past you for some reason.
As a result, we have a typical, in the bad sense of the word, dramatic action movie with a claim to a deep, high-moral message. Patriotic pathos is saturated with literally everything: music, dialogue, effects and shootouts, plus everything is served with bad taste. Most likely, this product was made by order of the army, in order to motivate young guys to join them, and they will put pressure on everything they can: on the same patriotism, on the cowardice of those who mow, on how cool it is to be military, and in general a duty to the homeland, and so on.
If you like such a typical kinzo, then please do not advise.
Thank you for your attention. Criticism of everything is welcome.
