It's one big lick. Probably the laziest did not compare this series with Gossip Girl.
So to speak, Gossip Girl in Hollywood.
Gossip Girl's Love Child and 90210
You can put these series as much as you like, but Famous In Love will never be half as successful as Gossip Girl and 90210.
Let’s start with the fact that the characters before gnashing their teeth are clichéd and stereotyped.
The main character, Paige Townson ("No D at the end), was ready to hit her every time she uttered the phrase) - a typical Mary Sue, all so holy and blameless, immediately falls into the world of celebrity and, surprise, falls in love with the local prince, while her best friend is already in love with her. And he's acting like an idiot. The writers here (and everywhere else) overreacted, as if no one had told them in time, “Stop! Know the measure!
And, of course, in contrast to her antiheroine, Alexia, the surname did not bother to remember - a typical spoiled bitch, vulnerable inside, who, according to the law of the genre, should become the favorite of the audience, but the character is so cheap and meagerly thought out that only causes skepticism or disgust.
I will not waste time and symbols on the rest of the characters, literally each of them can be found in any other series.
The creators tried to fill the plot with intrigues, gossip and scandals of the elite, but the performance is simply terrible and spoils the entire impression - pathetic, memorized phrases and images of heroes, mediocre acting only make you roll your eyes over and over again and remember where you have already seen it. The answer is everywhere.
I’ve never been a supporter of the invention of the bicycle – the attempts of the writers to come up with such unusual and new characters, the plot, that in the end the series resembled some kind of madness and a circus. Sometimes I even like a bit typical, medium-sized stories, but not when it’s all blatantly slithered together without any hint of individuality.
The review was written while watching the second series. I’m going to watch a couple more in the hope that something new and interesting will appear in the next series. I'll let the show run, so to speak. But I don't think so anymore.
I advise you to watch only if you are a lover of cheap fanfiction for girls or you have a lot of free time that you want to spend on rolling eyes and facepalms.
