The Chinese and Indians are brothers!! (The cast just knocks off their feet). It is recommended to watch in an embrace with Corvalol and Valerian.
Like any other girl, I don’t like war movies. Well, there's a lot of action, all sorts of moves, but it's not about this movie ever. Here everything is tied more to the moral confrontation between the Hindus and the Chinese, who are serving on the border. The film covers the period after the Indo-Chinese War of 1962 after a piece of Indian territory was illegally ceded to China. And in general, all the fuss in the film - for the land, well, and also because of the fact that it turns out that the Chinese do not like the Hindus, and the Hindus - the Chinese, although, I thought that the Hindus are only at war with Pakistat. After all, most of the Indian war films are about the confrontation between Pakistan and India, namely, which are bad Pakistanis and Hindus are good. And in this film, the main intrigue for me was to what extent the Hindus would make the Chinese look bad. They were completely stupid, as you would expect. The Chinese turned out all on one face, stupid, greedy and treacherous. Well, no doubt about it. That is, in the remainder after watching the film (and this is two and a half hours), we have a rather clumsy propaganda of the valor of the Indian warriors, well, and pathos three cars. I sometimes had my cheekbones boiled down to what “our” (i.e., Indian officers) were saying and how the Chinese soldiers were blunting. The battle scenes, I must say, were shot relatively decently, but they were few. Basically, the scene was one - Hindus with guns, ready to shoot - on one side of the border, on the other hand in the same form - the soldiers of China. And that's who stops who. Who will morally crush whom? Action as such is very little. Sometimes the film was diluted with flashbacks from the past lives of officers, this was interesting. Songs and dances, as usual, were, and were even in the trenches. It looked so bad.
But despite all these shortcomings, one fatting plus for me is the cast! It's just a bomb! It's been a long time since so many beautiful men gathered on one cm film. Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sud (this time in a positive role, and then all the villain and villain), Harshvardan Rane (he replaced Abhishek Bachchan, who left the project the day before filming began), and of course, Gurmit Choudhary. I have a long love for this actor, I have reviewed all his films, and in particular, the series “Second Wedding”, which is already watching for the third year, is coming to an end. This is just the most interesting man, both externally and as an actor, it is a pity that he is not allowed to open up outside the series. Here too, I believe, its potential is not revealed. The only successful scene for him, as well as for Harshvardan Rane (who is also unlucky after one of his only hits), is the scene of death (but the death of the hero!). So it is a pity that these comrades were few. Arjun Rampal and Sonu Sood worked out (within the script, of course) as well as they could. Jackie Shroff was in charge, but he wasn't at all - weak-willed and decisive. In the sense that he helped this battalion on the border - zero. The whole film felt like it was just a local conflict between the villages, and as if the leadership had initially decided not to intervene and see how it would resolve itself. And yes, when the portraits of the actual participants in the battle went to the end, the scrupulous following of the portrait similarity of the prototypes surprised. For that particular respect.
In general, I recommend this film either to war lovers or fans of these actors. The rest, of course, will be boring to watch as a crowd of peasants for two and a half hours running along the border with rifles and measuring something with the Chinese.
