I watched the movie by chance and was pleasantly surprised. In short, there’s a provincial women’s football team that needs to be won to continue sponsoring. Half the girls leave, and the captain picks up football players from among the friends she played with as a child. Girlfriends have all lost skills for a long time, but, of course, training and all that - and the old team in business.
This is not a spoiler, if you have watched at least one film about a team sport, you know that first the team loses, then trains hard, then almost wins, but loses, then the coach says the right words in between half-hours, then a miracle happens.
Such a domestic mixture of "Play like Beckham" and "Their own league".
The whole team is somehow revealed, everyone has their own images and stories, except one girl. Who hasn't said a word in the whole movie and has been hanging around all the time. Probably for quantity.
In any case, despite the fact that the script is imperfect and quite predictable, the film is pleasant to watch. This film is not even about struggle, but about a passion that everyone has their own. In the movie, for football. And for that passion, the girls go all the way. There's also a bit of drama, a bit of melodrama, a bit of non-irritating humor. But after the movie, I want to move forward.
'Nefootball' is a capacious name, which, on the one hand, appeals with irony and at the same time reproach to those who, indeed, do not consider women's football worthy of attention as a sport, on the other hand, is a conscious recognition by the authors that the cinema turned out not to be about sport, as such, so as not to have to justify themselves to the viewer in the style:
- Your expectations are your problems.
If the girls here played field hockey, polo or rugby, history would not change. They chose women's football, perhaps because the topic was relevant (especially in the run-up to this weekend's Russian Cup final), perhaps just of their own interest. To blame the authors, as well as to justify - nothing. It is important to note that the movie is not about football. The rest is a light, bright, emotional film in the spirit of the STS channel. Directed by Maxim Sveshnikov, in fact, is directly related to him: he worked on such projects as ' Hotel ' Eleon' and ' Filatov'. The entertainment function for him is the main component, therefore ' Nefootball' it turned out to be a simple, dynamic, not boring film, with a pleasant aftertaste at the end, in the final result of which there was no doubt at all.
I liked Lyubov Aksyonov, who managed to combine in her heroine the sports temper inherent in professional athletes, and the uncompromising nature of amateur footballers, while not turning into such a girl-boy, as young Valentina Lyapina turned out - purposeful, brazen, rude. There is no doubt that she will continue her career. The other girls don't need it. And the realization of this fact protects authors from the search for false meanings and pathos. The picture does not try to look deeper than it is.
There is such a famous technique when the main character is called a “fool”, and then he turns out to be very smart. And we're like, wow, how unexpected.
Here, it would seem, and here. The film was called “Nefootball” so hinting that I was ready to see the real football.
However, the film by Maxim Sveshnikov is quite original. Not only is there no good football, but there is no football at all. An hour and a half we are shown a stupid game – both football and the entire film-actor group.
Yes, I was ready for a banal predictable plot. But what can be interesting "film about sports", the plot of which usually fits into "defeat-training-defeat-training-triumph"? Deep and diverse images, unexpected plot dramatic moves within recognizable schemes, complex relationships between the characters. (I can refer here to the series about women’s armwrestling – “Glory / GLOW” (2017 – 2019), all of the above is served quite well. )
Alas, in Nefootball, both characters and characters are as banal and predictable as the general scheme. No background, no interesting relationships with each other, no sudden “breakthroughs” or qualitative changes. They never did, they never did. But they tortured and played melodramas and “relationships” again, extremely unexpectedly, didn’t they?
OK, then maybe we can enjoy a bright and quality football? See how “ugly ducklings” make “beautiful swans”? (Such motivational films in Russia are very much needed now, especially when it comes to women.) Alas, not again. A bad coach is bad at coaching a bad team. Badly shot players kick the ball badly.
So what's there to look at? What could be interesting about this movie? Is it just that the main characters in this film are women and girls? Ha.
If someone says, say, exaggerate feminists, there are modern films about “women’s sports” in Russia, do not believe it. The film "Nefootball" is emphasized patriarchal, as well as full of mensplaining and sexism. The final 3-4 minutes of the picture – against the background of the entire previous story – look like a mockery. And as a demonstration of the true purpose of a woman.
By the way, can you imagine a film about Kasparov, Kharlamov or Tretyakov that would end not with their sporting triumph, but with something completely different?
Ambitious, but not very confident athlete Danya Belykh risks losing her football team, the title of captain and, accordingly, the entire sports career. To prove that she is a real winner and a professional player, she needs to put together a strong team and show top class! To do this, you have to call all your childhood friends who used to play just as well as real kids. But time has passed, everyone has their own problems, affairs, worries, and adult women were somehow not up to football, especially since it is not considered a woman’s business. But their former strength and love of football arouse in them the same passion and desire to make everyone. That’s just the skills of the girls still lost, and now to establish the former cohesion is no longer that easy. To develop the right tactics and raise the team spirit, Danya decides to turn to a real player and football coach, only Vadim Panov does not believe in his wards, because how can women understand such a complex male science as football? But it turns out they can...
First of all, I am very surprised by this idea. It was very unusual for me to watch ordinary Russian girls play football. I used to think it was wild, but now this movie has made me rethink my views. Because in reality, a Russian woman can not only cook the most delicious borscht, but also race the ball, like Messi himself (or Ronaldo – who likes it here). But the topic itself is very relevant for the modern world. And yet, as full of Russian self-irony, I love it. Because such a serious topic to season with such funny and easy jokes – it is still necessary to be able! And, of course, I would like to mention special effects, because the scenes of the game on the football field are quite beautiful and fascinating, albeit often comical.
But the coolest thing about the film is the sincerity and openness of the characters. How cool it is when people can just be themselves, no matter what. Here are all these girls who have taken up the conquest of not a woman’s cause – really alive and happy that they know how to recognize their weakness, give free rein to emotions and recognize their feminine essence. It's just so inspiring that you come out after the movie as a completely different person. Julia Topolnitskaya, Alina Alekseeva, Lyubov Aksyonova, Polina Aug and other girls – all so naturally got used to their roles and so subtly felt their characters that it maximally favored the audience. Well, the evolution of the image of Egor Koreshkov is generally striking, because Panov began with a complete disbelief in girls and a disdainful attitude towards them turned into real respect. The strongest words of support that the coach says to the players cause genuine emotions and simply cannot but take by heart.
In short, despite being a man, I was interested in looking at women's (non-)football. This is something new for our cinema and for our perception. But at the same time, the film is so lively, soulful and sincere, without cheap pathos and falsehood, that instantly wins the hearts of the audience. An interesting and sometimes inspiring comedy will definitely appeal to many, including even those who are not interested in the topic of football at all.
8 out of 10
I just couldn’t get past the new sports comedy Nefootball. Not only do I like beautiful girls, I also consider myself a big fan of the game of millions. So the film was in the clear priority to watch and I still managed to watch it. And I can immediately say that it turned out quite interesting, beautiful, tense and even soulful. There's also great humor here. Let’s talk about the movie a little bit more.
In the center of the plot is Danya White, coolly played by Love Aksenova. The girl always loved to race with the ball and decided to make it her profession. Football is a universal thing. And since our guys can play it, girls can play it. Danya set high goals and got into the professional team. Winning and winning titles were in line, but things went awry... The team is cracking at the seams and Dana just needs emergency help. She comes from a rather unexpected side, because old friends of Dani’s school return from the reserve, and they are even more capable, even if they do not guess about it themselves yet.
Honestly, I am very impressed in the main role of Lyubov Aksyonov. Wherever I see her, she is always interesting, versatile and combative. In Nefootball, Aksenova had to learn a completely new business for herself, namely the game of football, and as for me, she coped perfectly. Not only did the actress spend months in intense training, she also worked out in detail the image of a girl who can handle any problems, because nothing can cope with her enthusiasm and energy!
I also remember the role of the colorful Polina Aug, who played Yulia Malysheva. She's definitely a bad joke. She can knock out with one blow, and if she digs the ball, she can even break the net. Aug is very interesting to watch, and especially against the background of the more refined Aksenova, which first of all attracts male attention. What to do, it's a fact! But Pauline has her strengths and charisma.
Funny Alexander Kusenkin also gets his deserved attention. There were a lot of fun moments with her that made me very happy. As they say, before she (or rather her heroine) played in fact like Messi, but now it’s time to get back in position! It’s amazing that I haven’t heard of this actress before.
In general, the characters of the heroines worked very well, you watch a movie and as if you see your old friends, who once if you did not study with you in school, then hung in the courtyard well. So during the session I felt complete comfort and somewhere even caught myself thinking that I was worried about the heroines. The authors are really great and most importantly, they did not go into the absurd, and made for us everyday comedy, which could well happen in reality.
Overall, I liked Neftball. The film not only charges positive, but also encourages active action. If Dania and her team were able to accomplish their small feat, then we are no worse. Good to see you!
As a child, Dana Belykh was never allowed to enter the football field, even his brother, who saw only a goalkeeper and not a striker in it. As an adult, she became a football player, participating in the Taganrog team 'Emerald'. As part of their team, everything is going as well as possible, but the unexpected change of coach, greatly derailed the female team. And even on top of the troubles threw fate: half the team broke up.
Dane decides to gather old friends who decided to recoil from the everyday life of mothers, not beloved wives and just wanted to change something in their fate. Together, this crazy team of football warriors will try to move to the major leagues and win the right to play like real men.
Actors: I will highlight some actresses who are remembered for their participation.
The second role of Aksenova, which I liked. Her Danya works perfectly on the field, but not at home behind the stove, not burdened by marriage and not raising children, which is normal at her 27 years old. But the sudden news of the Executioner and the change of coach makes her reconsider her views on everything that is happening. And maybe she'll start seeing something other than sports. The actress usually works in the images of a daring, principled combat girl, and here at least changed the image. And from a narcissistic egotist - although she is like this here, but does not overdo it too much - she becomes a girl capable of feelings.
Alexandra Kuzenkina played Anna ready to plug anyone by the belt who, in her opinion, did not grow up. You have two children and then we’ll talk.
Alina Alekseeva played Nadia, in childhood her heroine was distinguished by a violent temper and a firm character, but over time this blazing fire went out, as well as sparks of love, and hope for a happy marriage, melted like ice cream. Do not go to the fortune teller (in the literal sense did not go, but followed this mysticism from morning to night). But the chance presented to her to play on the battlefield and improve her broken spirit makes her tear off the fifth point. Alina is doing a great job.
Also worthy of praise Valentin Lyapin, on the street 'Cricket' (why? look and find out). I think she would have competed with Stephen Chow for the title of best footballer, because both hit straight at the target without missing. However, with character she had not been sweet, perhaps because of the insufficient upbringing of her father.
And a nice cameo Roman Madianov pleases the eye!
Maksim Sveshnikov known for his -ay, I will speak directly - failed pictures and excellent scenarios in the world of heroes, sometimes can create an unexpected surprise, say with shaggy 'Yolki' Here she tried her best.
Everything else: The three-fold structure of the script is observed.
Impressions: When life is full of seams and seems about to fall into a puddle again, for a thousand times, there are those who give you a helping hand. This is exactly how the good old friends of Dani, whom she dullly collected for the sake of a few victories in the match, relying on their former merits, turned out. And only out of respect for the executioner. But she did not suspect that with the help of young blood - in the person of Lapina - she would be able to slow down these slackers and show how much others were wrong with them. They say quit football! Grab your brain and go have children! And you do not give birth - do not want to live on someone's orders, or in general, wanted to devote yourself to a career.
Have you ever been told, ladies, that there is no place for women in sports? 'Baba on a ship to trouble' - a phrase of the XVIII-XIX centuries, which has long sunk into oblivion, but has not lost its relevance among sailors. And I will say one thing, football can be played. everyone, which Sveshnikov decided to show, does not focus on topics about gender inequality. There are moments where the heroines of the film behave like real women. Too loose and with insubordination. But despite this, they try to show that they can do the work on an equal footing with everyone. No one wants to live on someone’s command. No one pushes them around, and no one should control them. A footballer is determined not by what is between his legs, but by faith and love in doing a good thing.
So it is accepted that football is considered a men's game, and women's teams cause a grin on men's faces and are not taken seriously at all. That's not fair! After all, girls can not be inferior to guys in this game, but on the contrary, be cooler, brighter, more emotional and responsible.
The new youth comedy “Nefootball” will not allow you to doubt this. The creators shot a cool, positive and professional picture about a team of girls from the province, who prove to everyone that women's football - to be!
Danya White captain of the women's football team "Emerald Metallurg", which plays in the amateur league. To go professional, you need to win, which is not always possible. And when a new, brash and daring Panov comes to replace the usual coach, everything becomes even worse. Conflicts and disputes, the indifference of the new coach to the club is unlikely to benefit the team. Danya assembles a new team of her friends, with whom they played football as a child, and begins training that should lead them to victory.
“Nefootball” film is very life-affirming and motivational. The main roles are several characters, girls with their characters and fates. Some of them are divorced and it seems that life is over, and others on the contrary, an exemplary wife and mother. One friend has a complex heavy character, and the other - the soul of any company and will never betray a friend. In each image, viewers can recognize themselves, assume the role and be a little “in the subject”. The images turned out bright, lively and charismatic. Everything with a rod, with a stubborn will to win and each character is revealed throughout the film.
There's a lot of positivity in the picture. Humor at a good level, jokes of high quality and not stupid. The plot is dynamic, developing quickly. The girls are in great physical shape and play professionally. Love Aksyonov is a wonderful actress. It is diverse, each time a new role and a new image, different from the previous one. And the role of Dani, the role of the leader of the team, which is heartbroken for her, suited her perfectly. She is the star of this picture and shines brighter than others, although the rest of the actresses are dull. Alina Alekseeva, Alexandra Kuzenkina, Julia Topolnitskaya and the rest of the girls are just wonderful and cool, and Yegor Koreshkov is handsome.
"Nefootball" was filmed for a large audience. This movie is very good to go with friends, it will be fun and cool to watch and there will be motivation to lose weight and do sports. Young people will like to look at beautiful toned girls. In the end, "Nefootball" will be a great choice if you ask a girl on a date in the movies. There will be something to discuss, what amicable to argue after watching and sincerely laugh the whole session. The movie is worth it. It’s light, positive, life-affirming and dynamic, with great music tracks that everyone knows and that won’t get out of your head all night. So have a nice look!
I sometimes miss the good old days, when we could spend the night with a group of friends in the yard or punch a penalty in the school stadium while we were strong enough. These were glorious times, when life did not seem so difficult at all, and the biggest problem was that one of the comrades parents could leave home because of trifling faults. And I think that each of us sometimes returns to those glorious, carefree times, when life was shaking and it seemed that the impossible simply does not exist. Actually, it was for us, such nostalgic dreamers, that the comedy Nefootball was filmed, which went to storm the domestic hire on the first day of autumn.
The main heroine of this story is Danya Belykh, a fighting girl who has been fond of football since school and inspired her friends to this sport. But time inexorably flies forward, and now all the girls have become women with their worries and problems. Someone needs to settle the scores, and someone must raise children and not lose sight of them, or little or nothing. And only Dana White continues to remain true to his passion, which is not going to give up. But here on the horizon loomed trouble, which alone our heroine just can not solve.
The fact is that the Emerald Metallurg team, in which Danya achieved the title of captain, is on the verge of collapse. There is no funding, the players ran away, and even the new coach does not believe in the wards. It would be time to fall into a real panic, but our Danya with bare hands can not take! The girl conceived to pull off an incredible adventure and returned her old friends from stock. They haven’t played in a long time and have forgotten what shape the ball is. The main thing is the team spirit and at all costs it is necessary to raise it.
It was quite unexpected to see such an unusual, we can even say a non-standard film about sports, where not only do girls play football, but also frankly far from football. But the creators approached the idea with their heads and gave us not only a funny and dynamic comedy, but also a tape that is not without a soul. Meeting old friends under such an unusual pretext has become the basis for a lot of hilarious sketches, and at the same time the heroines will have something to talk about and remember.
I was bribed in the main role by the beautiful Lyubov Aksyonova. Honestly, no one probably did not expect to see her in football uniform, and she pulled herself together, clutched her teeth and proved that she can play not only glamorous beauties in the style of “Walk, Vasya!”, but also capable of certain sports feats. The image of Dani came from Aksenova not only that combat, but also incredibly deep. It looks like she's such an active football player, which is so easy to approach. But if you get to know her, it becomes clear that she also has a very kind soul and a big heart. In general, Aksenova is a good guy, although her colleagues should not be written off either. I also liked Yulia Topolnitskaya, who played Dani’s best friend. You can always rely on this girl for everything. If Aksenova is the heart, the locomotive of the team, then Topolnitskaya is her soul!
I also liked Cricket, played by Valentina Lyapina. I’m only discovering this actress, but I can already say that she plays wonderfully. At first, “Cricket” does not fit into the team of old friends due to the fact that she, firstly, is the youngest, and, secondly, she does not have the kindest character, but over time, the girl becomes an integral part of the team and shows us that friends can be found in any situation, the main thing is to trust those who are next to you and try to support you no matter what.
As a result, I want to say that Nefootball turned out to be just a cool film that skillfully beats the realities of women’s football and at the same time tells us the story of several heroines, each of which stands out with something special. No matter how many troubles and problems fall on our head, we should never be discouraged. Together we are a force, the main thing is to hold on to each other and never break away from the team.
