Toothy Australia What is Australia famous for? Giant insects, alligators, snakes and kangaroos. As well as the coastal zones of this wonderful state are rich in all possible species of underwater predators, the main of which are sharks. The new Nine Network project presents the viewer with another procedure with Australian flavor and notes of psychological drama. The main characters of the series, two detectives from Sydney Dan and Zoe, who suffered at one time from a bull shark attack, investigate the case of a serial killer who leaves bite marks on his victims and takes away the teeth from the killed. It turned out very ambiguous: on the one hand, a rather non-trivial plot, but on the other hand, the story of bitten detectives pursuing a biting maniac may seem an unnecessarily pretentious attempt to distinguish this project from many hundreds of similar procedures on small screens around the world. Because “Bite Club” is and is quite able to keep the viewer at the screen due to optimal dynamics, a couple of plot twists and cast charisma, but the script work of the creators is torn between genres, in attempts to devote a few minutes of screen time and detective component, coupled with a thriller, and romantic line and drama in the face of PTSD victims of shark attacks. But, as they say, you will not please everyone and therefore scattered attention does not help the project with the final denouement, allowing a lot of illogical blunders and plot flaws. The main advantage of the series: the participation of the star of “Lost” and “Lord of the Rings” Dominic Monaghan, who perfectly performed his role, thanks to which this project will help to pass a few evenings.
