Everyone has a secret that will be known to everyone. I recently finished watching the first season and I want to share my impressions. The series caught the eye by accident, interested in the lead actor Kaan Urgandzhioğlu, whom many know for the role of the Emir in 'Black Love'. I did not watch the series because I am not a fan of Burak Ozcivit and Neslihan Atagül. Plus, for most, albeit positive, reviews, it seemed that there are too many tears, and somehow I’m more positive endings – watch 100 episodes to see what happened to your favorite characters, it’s somehow not for me. And I am not a fan of roles in which a person who has lost himself from feelings, obsessed with someone is shown. But that's not the point. This is about the role of Kaan in the series 'Justice'. That's where he really came in. I'll tell you a little bit more.
The plot for me is new from Turkish filmmakers - well, or I just haven't seen anything like it before. We are shown a story against the background of the court kitchen of Turkey. One not-so-joyful morning, the police are called to the scene of the crime: a corpse was found in the garbage can of one of the yards, in a suitcase. And at the same time, we get acquainted with the first actors - Chief Commissioner Metin Kaya (the role is played by Hussein-Avni Danyal), Commissioner Eren Duman (whose role is played by us already known from work & #39; Black and White Love' Ugur Aslan), as well as Ilgaz Kaya - prosecutor and son of the chief commissioner (played by Kaan Urgandzioglu). And it could have been a common thing, out of a million of them, had it not been for the fact that along with the corpse was found and credit card belonging to Metin Kaya, but, as it turned out, kidnapped by his son Chinar (played by Arda Anarat). Perhaps further about the plot is not worth it, since the series is still going, I would not like to spoil and spoil the impression by just starting to watch or planning. I will only say that there are a lot of events that, at first glance, seem in no way connected with each other, but in the end, with each series, like pieces of a puzzle, they are connected together into a whole picture. In the course of the development of the plot, we are faced with a lot of secrets, as well as the fact that almost none of the characters are what they seem. Everyone has a secret behind them, someone has a terrible secret, someone has less, but in the end, everyone will have to face them and decide how to behave next.
The atmosphere of the series is unparalleled: shooting style, music, entourage - I like everything. Not rewinded a single second, as there was constant tension from the moment, the series kept from the first to the last series, from the first to the last minute. At some point it was simply impossible to understand our emotions, so skillfully the creators let us know that nothing is what it seems. No one is uniquely good or bad.
Kaan Urganjioğlu really liked me in this role. The prosecutor in his performance was very cool. He's handsome, charismatic. And if at first he is a little annoying with his correctness, then it is impossible not to fall in love with his character. I think his age and experience gave him a good base to play like that. You believe in everything you do.
As for his partner Pynar Deniz, the performer of the role of lawyer Jaylin Erguvan, here is increasingly ambiguous. Yes, they make a good pair: type, chemistry, everything is there. But I haven’t seen her play before, so it’s hard to know if it’s her character who’s been prescribed that way or if she’s really that way in her own right: too many tantrums, too eccentric, too hot-tempered. Sometimes it seemed that her character was on the verge of madness. It also sometimes seemed that another partner was being planned for our prosecutor. If you take their heroes, it is all too obvious who in this story loves whom more and who makes great sacrifices for whom. But here is my opinion, in the second season it will be clear what the writers decided.
Who I would like to note separately from the supporting actors, so of course, Ugura Aslan (Eren) is one of the favorite characters, worried about him as a close friend, he has a very expressive facial expressions and a good pleasant game. Mehmet Iilmaz Ak (Prosecutor Pars) also liked it. I know him for his role in one of my favorite TV shows 'The Ring'. Although his character is not immediately liked, but when you get to know them closer, he is very attractive. He is not a typical handsome man, but he is also very charismatic. Attracts the attention of Basak Gyumulgineliola (the role of Judge Neva), familiar to many on the series ' Knock on my door' even a reference made, she sang under her nose a song from this series. I played a deeper character here, I liked it.
A separate mention deserves Ugur Polat (performer of the role of lawyer Yekta Tilman), that's the devil from the snuffbox. The main villain of the series, what else to look for. His performance deserves praise, as to make yourself so hate it is still necessary to know and all this throughout the season. You think, well, well, he can't ruin the life of others any more, but no, he surprised with his villains every time. Great talent of the actor.
In general, I want to note that the series holds intrigue well, I was not able to catch plot twists, although it usually comes out quite easily. The series constantly surprised me. I hope the second season will be a good one.
I definitely recommend watching. If you're tired of a stupid clichéd movie, this is it. There is a sense of quality in everything. It feels like a soul was invested in the series, and not just for the sake of the tick and ratings. There are a lot of heartfelt moments, there is a little action and a very large space for thoughts - and what would I do in this situation, what is able to go for the sake of loved ones. In general, the series is good for reflection - there are no snot, like ' Love-does not like' where the characters of 20 episodes rush in an imaginary struggle with themselves, talking about family, love, support. As well as law-abiding, many important topics are raised: parenting, domestic violence, social equality. I'd even say it's a show for an educated viewer who's fed up with popcorn brain stickers. I will add a little more, I tend to trust the work of Ali Bilgin, as the series 'The Raven' which he also directed, is forever in my heart. There and Barysh Arduch opened for me from the other side. I can talk a lot about this series too.
Anyway, I'm finishing up. It's really worth watching!
