Unperfect couples After five years of marriage, Cook and Nana decided it was time to separate. To make their relatives happy with this news, they were going immediately after the wedding of their younger sister Cook, to which they appeared under the guise of a still happy couple. No one could have imagined that everything would go awry with their arrival. From the once friendly family climbed such that both the younger and older hair on end. And the joyous "Bitter!" was replaced by "I want a divorce!"
The emotional mix absorbed me so much that 2.5 flew by in one moment. Well, the actors have done their best. Most of all, of course, carried Varuna. I love his movies where he plays with all his heart. You can see that he is living his character. Varun and Chiara had a very hot duet, sparks were flying. One episode of their quarrel is worth it. And if they also took it off in one take, I applaud standing up. And that's not all. The second duet of Anil and again the same Varuna does not lag behind in the heat of passions. The classic father-son relationship here should be regarded as "the opposite." Kuku, some grounded, stuffed, on the one hand and his galloping grasshopper, father on the other. About such talk - gray in a beard, demon in a rib - was very accurately noticed. And this, conventionally, body swapping illustrates very clearly the two types of married couples for whom marriage is what this film was about. Probably, such atypical behavior of the head of the family (for still traditional family relations in Indian cinema) makes Anil’s character noticeable against the background of hyperemotional Varun. This writers are full of problems. In fact, he was the epicenter of the hurricane, to which everything around stuck - an unexpected confession of his father, reproaches of his wife, unsuccessful attempts to restore family harmony, and his work with his wealth, let's say, is not very good. He would be sorry, but there is no one.
But there was a complete relaxation between the daughter-in-law and the mother-in-law. One can only guess where Naina's family was leaked after her bachelorette party riot. I think every girl dreams of living soul-to-heart with the mother of her betrothed. Although, here the principle of "the further, the closer" works. The second episode in the film that touched me, which even pulled me to tears, was the intimate conversation between Neina and Gita. Here, do not go to the fortune teller, it is clear on whose side the entire female audience will be on. Screenwriters are cunning, they knew where to put the right word. As long as men stand in solidarity with their husbands, women will sigh with their wives. Well, to please the younger generation, the plot hints slipped the sad (but not hopeless) love story of the younger sister Cook.
And so that the viewer did not suddenly get obscured, not twisted about his own family problems, the director approached the story with humor. Not a bad move, actually. I thought you heard a dramatic note, and there's bang! and a funny falsetto. And this is how the whole film is decorated. And since we are talking about music, here you will find, as usual, a good Indian disco, in the end even the bodies were given. Of course, not undressing Varuna is a sin. True, not quite this clip fits with the film, but if you consider it as a separate element, it turned out beautiful.
Growing up on good old Indian fairy tales, where all villains turn into good men and warring clans fraternize forever, I was certainly not used to seeing so much realism on the screen. Maybe someone will be deceived by the final denouement of this tangled tangle, but, in my opinion, from what they left, to that they came; what they were, so they remained. Perhaps it is worth thanking the creators for so skillfully presented the truth. We are not in the pink clouds. I would highly recommend this film to all couples who dream of getting divorced, so that many of them without unnecessary drama look at their relationship from the outside. They learn from other people’s mistakes, so do not pass by. Good to see you all!
