Nelly Rapp: The Mirror of Death The production passed into men’s hands, but the girl remained in the lead role. Although she's like that, not quite that young girl, she's about to be a teenager.
Mystery of the disappearance of my mother. In search of Alice...
In fact, I thought that the mother of the main character will be associated with the past part of the franchise, but no. The previous film was more like an introductory introduction than even a film.
A girl finds her mom's old portable player with an artifact-key inside. She'll listen to music on it. I remember the first part of this... Guardians of the Galaxy, only there the guy kind of misses his father, although I may be wrong ... now I watched the plot ... he lost his mother first. Anyway, it doesn't matter.
We have a social drama at the core. A daughter without a mother who once disappeared there. But now her father has a new passion, if I understood something correctly (half the film on the Internet wandering on other issues), and also her brother appeared a joint like ... and with a different skin color even (again I listened to this moment, how it happened, I wonder, in the original book it is also there or not). It’s also something in the Scandinavian spirit... they probably have a migration crisis and so on. In short, the full social in the film ... all the pressing social issues of modernity, modern Europe ... stuffed into a children's cartoon, that is, a film fairy tale. Well, yeah, kids have nothing else to think about.
But it was tolerant. All these fairy tales, like this, were previously only with actors of the same race. And racial diversity is now fashionable in the West in the movies.
The rest of the flaws of the first part remained, including a small budget. But some visuals have changed, the entourage has made a little festive. The camera's moving a little bit faster. The operator changed, too. There is even a minimal computer graphics. More nature locations. But it’s still boring... it’s more like a TV project than a feature film. Even TV shows are getting better these days. Although purely in concept and some locations, I personally liked this part of the franchise more than the first one. This is the search for mother where she disappeared, according to her tracks, entries in her diary, etc.
And caste. Such a cast, perhaps with the exception of the main actress, would be suitable for theatrical production in school. That’s the big school theater production of the film and reminds. But maybe a children's story should be like that, I don't know. Scandinavians know better.
