From the first minute, you get the impression that you're watching a shōnen from the eighties, and you don't let go until the very end. The patterning of the technique and background resembles something like the “Heavenly Castle of Laputa” or “Akiru”. Yellow stones of the desert, bright blue sky and battered tank form a unique atmosphere and cause a pleasant nostalgic feeling of cartoons of childhood.
The company of the main characters is quite diverse. The first is an elderly frowning sheriff driven by guilt and duty. His experience and military ingenuity pull the team out of the most hopeless situations. Secondly, it is the son of Satan, the main striking force and the source of fun. Like all children, he loves to play the console, and everything that happens for him is more a fun adventure than a serious mission. An old grumpy demon complements the team in the first story arc. And in the next, a girl appears on a bike with a wrench in her hand.
The plot is not without drama, well thought out and fascinating. It will be interesting for both children and adults. A life-affirming message and humor are left with a good mood after watching.
It's amazing that this animation has so few ratings. I hope it gets bigger soon.
