Over the edge A screened authentic story. The strength of the spirit is almost astonished, and it does not matter who the man or woman was.
In the conditions of the Puritan English society of the time of the development of the American continent, one would decide on such a reincarnation (you remember the intonation and face of the woman in the store where the heroine makes her decision to dress up) this is not just a criminal and religious crime, if she were exposed in her lifetime, I do not think that they would limit themselves to simple lynching.
In general, it is not enough to survive in the conditions of a temporary settlement of pioneers, especially for a woman under the guise of a man, where the price is the most stringent primitive criteria of strength and once again strength, it is generally beyond the bounds. But, nevertheless, it was, so this is not all that the camera and the screen could convey, apparently there was something in the eyes that caused respect and kept at a distance, which is shown in resistance to difficulties and overcoming them.
When I was going to see this film, I was afraid of some scabies or feminist attacks. It was very pleasant that we managed to do without this, and the heroine is shown with love and respectfully without excessive pathos.
Susie Amies did the part, I think, wonderfully. It does not show a fairy tale about how easily she cuts wood with one left, but does not fall under the weight of a full bucket. The move with the scar is simply phenomenal and characterizes the heroine as an intelligent person, while it is completely unclear what prevented her from giving her sister an address such as “Joe for transfer to Josephine”, which would remove questions in the case of opening the letter, especially since she did not hide her whereabouts, although probably we are all strong “back mind”.
The plot is about a strong extraordinary man in the entourage for fans of American history, which may explain some of the originality of the plot, generally kind and chamber.
Full 8 out of 10 with a wish to see this and not especially Western.
