What was that? Insanity or split personality? I don’t remember who, but someone told me that this film is a complete copy of an English film (though I don’t remember which one, either, because I didn’t have the honor to see it), and you forget about it, just watch it. The main thing here is a magnificent and solid acting game Ajay Devgan. This thriller is really great. It's hard to believe that Ajay can be a negative character in a movie. He looks so innocent. The film begins with the murder of Ashvin Meht, and the police caught Taran allegedly behind the murder. He is a musical master and guru and a friend of the famous singer Sargam. When she heard the news, she was shocked and hired a lawyer to save the life of Rajah. It's the first half of the movie. In the second half, the film gets tough and intense. It’s not just a movie that anyone can easily miss, it’s truly a masterpiece, so people please don’t miss this thriller.
And I couldn't pass by and not watch, because one of my favorite actors is Ajay Devgan. It's always perfect! I liked the idea and execution of the script. There will be no dancing in this film, only a few very beautiful songs, but it has a deeper meaning. Probably, to master this film, under the power of only an ardent fan of Indian cinema. Or American. Because it is shot on the basis of American stories, the most different that can only be remembered in the thriller genre.
Ajay was persuasive, especially as his eyes are always expressive. Akshay played a young lawyer, and the role he had to say succeeded. Urmila also liked it. The scenes from the courtroom were delightful and well-planned. The film was spectacular. One of the best thrillers in Indian cinema. I would offer this film to anyone for whom the plot is important in any film.
Ajay Devgan in another negative role, which performed brilliantly. He has received several awards for this work. In general, the hero of Ajay reminded me of the heroine of Kajol in "Mystery" (which, by the way, I recently watched for the first time). It seems that the husband decided to repeat the feat of his wife and prove that he is capable of the same. And even with the same result - the award Filmfare for the best "villain" role. And I will say that Ajay has played his role perfectly, but Ajay does not know any other way, either perfectly or not (although I have not yet met the second one).
Akshai Khnna also coped perfectly with the difficult role of a lawyer, and received a nomination for Best Actor. The guy is growing up! What was it in the same "Rhythms of Love"? Trying to squeeze a tear from the viewer movie sufferer. In "Loving Hearts" it was something more meaningful. In "The Wall" the image was already excellent. And so in "Human meanness" he made one great favorable impression on me! Perhaps you should continue to follow his screen career! I don’t think he’s done everything he’s capable of! Well done!
And, as it often happens, the supporting actors were quite suitable for becoming the main characters. And Farida Jalal, and Suresh Oberoy, and Sima Biswas, and Tiku Talsania, and Sukhasini Molay as a judge, were as convincing as possible.
As I read in one of the Indoman forums, in the topic of Ajay Devgan, that Ajay has played so many different kinds of prisoners, oppressed, unjustly convicted, etc., and has been handcuffed so often that he probably has a private prison cell in the back of Bollywood, which is cleaned and ventilated daily. And in addition, a personal set of handcuffs, carefully stored in a safe on a special velvet pillow. Which is removed to light in special cases of filming, after which it is sterilized and again hides from the eyes of people. But actually, the prison-torture theme was very popular in Bollywood action movies of the 90s, then all the actors went through it. And in Ajay it continued in the early 2000s.
The film lasts almost three hours, and its plot can be almost visually divided into two parts: you watch one quite logical storyline, which is just as logically completed, you can even launch the credits ... And then you gasp in surprise and watch for another hour and a half. If you start listing all the interesting moments now, you will get a lot of spoilers, so I just mention that there is a love triangle in the film, music stolen from the composer, as well as... And what else - you will find out when watching the movie. And the movie is worth watching, believe me. So don't miss it.
