Repeated session There are movies I like to watch. And one of them is exactly what we're talking about. I never would have thought. That I might like a romantic, musical comedy with elements of parody and martial arts in the historical setting of the Ming Dynasty. However, it happened.
A Chinese princess, dressed as a man, flees for adventure from the Forbidden City. And then on her way there are reckless Lee nicknamed “Fighting King” and his sister Phoenix, who tries to resemble her brother in everything. In search of freedom, the palace leaves the young emperor, who looks like future hippies. It is clear that in the relationship of these four things are turned upside down and confused.
The movie is, frankly, strange. But that's what makes him attractive. It is filled with symbols, as well as natural and, most importantly, internal beauty. And the absurdity of the plot allows you to look at the topic of love from an unusual side.
If Americans made such a movie, they would not do without a couple of continuations of history. The Chinese had the wisdom to achieve harmony. And this is another reason to review the picture, simple at first glance, but very deep - for each subsequent one.
