The triumph of justice. Fun film, fun, dynamic. Not a typical action movie. Sometimes exciting, sometimes funny, sometimes sad.
The actors were very pleased, especially Govinda. So incendiary, windy, sweet, just lovely. His character John DeMelo nicknamed "bell ringing" (the nickname, by the way, he invented himself, and I imagined to everyone John DeMelo "bell ringing", even the sign on his house was hung). Govinda Here is simply irresistible. Such a small, conscientious thief with a vulnerable soul. And the nickname is quite consistent, the mouth did not close for a minute, the whole film rang like a bell. And how he danced, just amazing. And in the scenes, the fights are generally magnificent, which he only did not do, dodging the blows, and he turned with a wolf, and the bridge did and walked with a wheel, so many acrobatic exercises performed. I didn't know it was so flexible and flexible. And the smile, dear mother, hold me three, just fights on the spot (here I always wonder, in Bollywood actors are specially trained to fight the audience with a full smile, or in principle all Indians are like that?). His light skin and blonde hair, and brown eyes add to his extra charm. A couple made him a charming Nilam. They looked great together, the chemistry between them was such that sparks flew in all directions, just class. According to the plot, her character Bigley is a very lively and active girl, whom John saved from rapists. The way she followed him relentlessly, that's something. He called her a cheeky girl and a leech who clinged to him and did not want to let go, and he secretly peeked whether she had gone or not. The smile didn't come off my face looking at the couple.
The exact opposite of Govinde, Sanjay Dutt. Young, handsome, recklessly brave cop. Gloomy and gloomy Amar, the son of the murdered Commissioner Sharma, Sanju turned out great. Although he is a police officer, he never appeared in uniform, always wearing jeans, a leather jacket, a red jersey, and sunglasses. And on a motorcycle. Such a brutal handsome man, a friend and protector of all the poor, who stood alone against criminals. Sanjai is incredibly good. I kept wondering how he managed to play a character as patient and calm as a boa cons, in any situation. While his eyes burned so that the spirit was breathtaking and energy just burst out. Just brilliantly executed. But the actress he paired unsuccessfully, in my opinion. Anita Raj, of course, beautiful and very feminine, but in a couple Sanjayu did not fit. She's big for him, rude, and looks a lot older next to him. Although her character Anjou, overall I liked it. As soon as she did not frown on him, which only she did not do to seduce him, but he was a flint, for a long time remained indifferent to her. And there was no chemistry between them, there was a feeling that Amar succumbed to courtship Anjou, only that she no longer bothered him. In general, the line of love and relations between them is revealed weakly, much more vividly and fully revealed the love story of John and Bigley.
The villains, as always, are the classic trinity: Paresh Raval, Gulshan Grover and at the head of them is Shakti Kapoor, the same Khurana who killed his father Amar. But in the end, justice triumphs and all scoundrels get what they deserve.
I watched this film for the first time today, and honestly, I was waiting to see an ordinary action movie, and in the end I watched a well-directed drama, namely a drama, with elements of an action movie, oddly enough for me, there is very little crime in the film. Both the main characters are great, literally the whole film sympathized with both, it was nice to see such strong actors together. But here is the confrontation between them, one real policeman, zealously defending law and order. The second is the right “bandit” – a thief who steals from the rich helps the poor, and is ready to arrange a game of cat and mouse with the police, because it is boring to live simply because money is important to him, the process itself is interesting. But damn it, how beautifully presented! A real drama in people’s lives!
You can throw stones at me, but I did not see in the film the real cruel bandits, well, this, neither in their characters, and especially in their actions, the fact that they are excellent shooters in the film does not say anything. Even the main villain Shakti Kapoor is rather weak here compared to his other roles. There was no fear or fear.
In general, the film is very realistic, showed the joyless side of the life of ordinary people in front of the powerful of this world, and no matter in which country, this is relevant for any country in the world. Anyway, look, after a busy week, it's just right. There is something to laugh at, over what to mourn, and over what even to cry.
