Cunning 40-year-old bean plan French cinema has always been close to our brother. When there was the so-called “iron curtain” and about the pictures of Hollywood production could be forgotten, and especially no one was very worried, because Soviet cinema at that time was at such a height, to which the current Russian is still very far, but French cinema with enviable regularity fell into domestic cinema. People laughed without restraint at the greatest French comedians Louis de Funes and Pierre Richard, and at the same time women were in love with admiration, and men were jealous of the heroes of Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo. And now the French keep their traditions sacred and no one wrote off Jean Renaud, Christian Clavier and Gerard Depardieu (despite his current citizenship). That’s a good comedy “How to get married and stay single” refers to the French cinema and is unlikely not to like our viewer.
What makes French cinema so interesting? The first thing that every second person will say is the unfathomable charm of every French film. Elegance, splendor, ease of transmission and at the same time almost tangible energy, which envelopes the lila with the fragrance of Paris or the aromas of vineyards. All this is contained in the light comedy “How to Get Married and Stay Single”. The film begins with a scene when a mother, her five daughters and one son and a brother gather at the dinner table. He is clearly over forty, but we learn that he is not married and is used to the fact that his sisters wash him, clean him, and at this time he does not disturb anything except work "Nose". So he is - "Nose", he works in the company, developing new fragrances for perfume, cologne, toilet water. The work of the French deserves respect, knowing how sophisticated they are. But the sisters all of a sudden tired of it and now Louis Costa (so call the main character) on the verge of marriage, because mom and sisters decide it immediately at a family meeting, and Louis does not want it so much, his freedom and way of life can be destroyed!
Louis comes up with a cunning plan and, with the help of her best friend Emma's sister, decides to get rid of the annoying sisters once and for all. He introduces the Costa Emma family as his bride, but she must leave him on the wedding day. Louis is heartbroken and never agrees to tie the knot again. But the plan collapses, but in his place comes another, but there awaits the collapse of cunning Louis. And yet, if everyone knows that the genre of the film is a romantic comedy, how and how everything will end and in the final there will be a one-time reason to be sorry and sincerely rejoice for the heroes of the tape. In the movie “How to Get Married and Stay Single” You won't find a million different jokes, lots of fun situations, but it's a comedy from the first to the last shot, there's no doubt about that. But an additional and important plus of the film is its kindness, because after itself it leaves the best aftertaste and the mood will certainly be on the rise. And the main characters will remain in memory, because there is no one here to call a bad person, everyone is ordinary, and from this very close and simple viewer.
And, of course, the latter could not be achieved if the actors, even in such, relatively speaking, easy genre as a romantic comedy, did not work out their fees and did not please the audience. The main role is played by Alain Schab, director of the second part of Asterix and Obelix. He clearly suited for this role (by the way, the idea of creating a film on this plot belongs to just Shab) and how I did not look, but about the marital status of the actor did not find anything, maybe he is really not married and played almost himself? But, to be honest, this is not particularly interesting, and most importantly, Shaba played well. Emma was played by the muse and main actress Lars von Trier Charlotte Gainsbourg. Personality ambiguous, but talented, actress and singer, playing in the cinema such extraordinary roles as in the scandalously sensational “Nymphomaniac”. In How to Marry and Stay Single, she does not play such a resonant or resonant role, but played a pleasant girl with her complex character and hung language, but her aspirations in life make her respect. While there was one scene that sounds like Gainsbourg from Trier’s films, it’s more the exception than the rule. And, probably, such heroes as Shab and Gainsbourg and should have found each other.
A good relaxing comedy, shot in such a recognizable French style, and he, in turn, likes our viewer, so if you are a person who does not condemn the genre of romantic comedy, you can easily and gloriously pass your evening, but preferably with your half.
