Meeting a predatory fish A cartoon about such an important feeling as gratitude, and a nice bonus is that some of the events take place under water. Infrequent phenomenon in Soviet animation, and not only.
Sea, light fog and big waves. A paradise for surfers and water skiers! And also for artists who -- admit it, do you like hitting coastal waves that are coming ashore? The authors of the cartoon seem to like it very much, because they added to the plot a couple of not too reliable, but juicy scenes in which animals and chicks on water skis jump through a large wave, making real holes in it. Physics sighs sadly, but I smile. I smile when I see a big fish.
Artists very conventionally depicted the owner of coastal waters: the torso of a ruffle, but a mustache like a catfish. At the same time, our fish is about the size of a minivan. Maybe the director was partially inspired by the extinct xyfactin? At least he also has an upturned snout and very sharp teeth. Do not envy the calf, which the predator chose the first victim. The yellow duckling suffered from fear: if not for water skiing, then mother does not grieve! It's good that there's a conscientious captain and a prickly hedgehog who can help. But here's where the bulk of the timekeeping spends a couple of storks - I didn't understand. It seems that these birds were added only for a funny scene with falling skis and for the sake of romantic music.
There is one moment in the cartoon that is somewhat reminiscent of the later "Walks with Dinosaurs", only the finale is not tragic, but joyful. And that's good, isn't it?
“On the water” will almost certainly let you relax. There is something to laugh at and something to smile at. Water skiing, fish, pleasant music - what else is missing for a wonderful holiday?
