I’ve been a fan of Turkish TV shows lately, so Menekshe and Khalil couldn’t escape. At least because it touches on the topic that a girl is forcibly married to a stranger – tears are provided by the river.
So, in Berlin lives Meneksha (Sedef Avci) – the daughter of Turkish migrants who have not forgotten their roots and sacredly honor traditions. One day she meets Khalil (Kivanc Tatlıtug), an illegal from Bosnia, and between them there is a bright and beautiful feeling. But the girl’s family does not lose time: finds her a suitable party and in a short time gives her a marriage. After their wedding night, Menekse realizes that he cannot live like this, and decides to flee with Khalil to Istanbul. And there they will have to live a life full of dangers, because they are haunted not only by the girl’s family, eager for their death, but also by ghosts from Khalil’s past.
I did not like that the main characters were shown absolutely without flaws - there are no such ideal people, without a single wormhole. Meneksha is not hesitant to give his organs to those in need for transplantation, and Khalil risks his life to avoid losing the box given by his deceased mother. And he does a million noble things at the first request of his beloved girl - neither give nor take, a knight without fear and reproach. Anyway, it's too sweet. In some moments, it is impossible to resist the skeptical “Come on??”.
Diluted this syrup idyll relatives of Meneksha, and the main villain - Mustafa. The actor who played him, wonderfully got used to the role - really caused disgust from and before, and it was immediately clear that he had trouble with his head.
Despite all the obscenity, since the romantic lives and lives in me, I put
