Farewell tour Of all the films released in 2012 with the participation of Mads Mikkelsen, this is the simplest in both the plot and the created image: such a soulful acting game as in the Hunt is not required here. But the authors immediately intrigue the viewer by the fact that they created a film that did not yet exist. After such a statement, I really want to find out what the novelty of this work is.
"Move" is a solo by one actor; Madsu is played along by two ladies, however, they begin to actively act one in the middle, and the other even to the end of the film. The other characters are episodic. Movies where everything is based on the play of one actor, a lot. So innovation is not to be found here. The plot does not shine with novelty: a special agent must deliver from point A to point B a silver suitcase with secret contents. Details of the operation are reported to him during the process.
The hero is a very experienced agent, and although he is not a young man for a long time, but he runs, jumps, fights, manages with oars, unfortunately, does not dance - well, the director did not bring us such joy in this film benefit. Of course, it is a success with women. So it's almost James Bond. Only tired, which is emphasized in the film in different ways. First, the appearance. In the first part, the hero has grown hair with gray hair, a gray beard, a tense look. This is his last assignment, it is also the first in 4 years, and the hero probably thought that he would do it for the last time. But the authorities clearly hinted that you need to get yourself in order: sent the hero to the Vienna Opera.
Secondly, the fatigue of the hero led to the fact that he made a lot of mistakes during the operation. The case went wrong. Here are some of the mistakes of the agent.
1. He didn’t recognize the girl who dropped her purse in the Opera.
2. He walked so well at the Hungarian wedding that he completely lost control of himself and did not lose his life just because it would be too easy for the enemy.
3. The hero arranged a number of car accidents: from a downed deer and people to his own fall in a car into the river, followed by hospitalization in an unconscious state.
4. He lost his briefcase.
The words “I’m tired” are in the movie. They are addressed to an obsessive companion - the same unknown after the meeting at the Opera.
However, the hero corrected all his mistakes, returned the stolen case and completed the task. Yay? After parting with the suitcase, there was no joy on the agent's face. He was thinking. The past? The future? About the freedom he received and what will he do with it?
Maybe the novelty of “Move” is that the superagent is shown as an ordinary person who is tired of his work, who can just get tired and dream about rest. Or she’s in the screening after each series of photos, names and surnames of people who participated in the shooting without being actors. They just sat in a cafe at adjacent tables, or passed by, or rode in a tram, or were depicted on posters. It is for this, probably, it was necessary to break the film into parts - after all, each of them has its own "non-professional stars", and the credits at the end of the film are rarely watched.
This faint film has a magnificent musical design: the original electronic music, and used Slavic, Hungarian songs. Special thanks for meeting Lindy Ortega (song at the beginning of "Germany").
And very pleased that Mads Mikkelsen was driving the Niva (and also moved the Lada, under which he hid the case). You will never see this again.
Mads Mikkelsen in Move is as good as ever. But will it be enough to watch the film for those viewers who are not fans of this actor?
