In summer, as you know, hockey usually ' hibernates'. Either you watch replays of your favorite matches, or you wonder which club you drafted, traded or bought. I decided to do something I didn’t have time to do before, which was watch the series. I didn't think long. My choice fell on the TV series 'Youth' for quite understandable reasons. My love of hockey!
Advertising for the series flashed all autumn on STS, but, frankly, did not watch. There was just no desire. But, looking at it, it was a bit of a pity that I did not see this series a little earlier.
Did you like the series in general? Yes.
I’m not going to hide the fact that sometimes I missed hockey. But, if I needed hockey, I would review the matches of my favorite team, and here everything is quite definitely genre: drama, sports. I saw the drama. Sport, let's assume that too. It was very important to feel that special atmosphere in the team dressing room. I felt it. Probably, the scenes in the dressing room of the team became one of my favorites.
I would like to mention the actors who surprised me.
Semen Bakin (Igor Ogurtsov): To be honest, I loved his character the most. I have always liked this type of hero: simple, good-natured. I would like to thank Igor Ogurtsov for showing us just such Semyon Bakin. I like it! Alexander Kostrov (Ivan Zhvakin): The character played by Ivan, I also liked. The other thing is, for me, it hasn’t been fully revealed in all 40 episodes. But the guy sometimes said smart thoughts to his teammates.
Andrey Kislyak (Vlad Kanopka): The actor was one hundred percent able to show this trouble of the fight. I believe! The series, of course, needed this on the one hand positive, and on the other hand not quite a hero. And that would be too boring.
Egor Shchukin (Alexander Sokolovsky):'Captain, captain, smile!' A real captain. True 'The Bear'. He always tried to do everything for the team, even when it was very difficult for him to do it. I also liked the character and didn’t fully reveal it to me. Looking forward to Season 2!
Alina Morozova (Maria Ivashchenko):
I would like to pay attention to each hero much more, but I am afraid that I will write a lot. It is also necessary to note the character who always caused me positive emotions and made me laugh, father Semyon Bakin, played by a wonderful actor Nikolai Dobrynin.
What do I expect from Season 2? Maybe a little more sports, a little less drama. Do not go to the soap opera.
Anyway, I have to admit that I liked the series. Hockey is a great game that has a lot of fans all over the world. And, of course, for even greater popularization of hockey in Russia, and sports in general, this series is very suitable. I think it’s the right show for a young audience.
“A five is a fist, not five crooked fingers, which, instead of playing, show everyone fig.”
I have a very long and sincere love of hockey, go to matches, support the national team (taking this opportunity, I congratulate all hockey fans on our victory at the World Cup). However, as soon as this series began, I did not run joyfully to the screens, anticipating a pleasantly spent time. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I am not a fan of Russian TV series, which repeat everything like a blueprint. But, paradoxically, I heard about 'Youth' a huge number of positive reviews from both critics and spectators and fans of this sport. I am one of those people who prefer to see for themselves rather than rely on someone else’s opinion. Sitting down to watch, I was sure that I would find fault with literally everything. I take my words back.
The plot is quite original at least in the sense that this is the first product in my memory, which is positioned as ' sports drama' (the creators claim that this is the world’s first series about hockey, I will take it for granted, because I also do not remember analogues). It is clear that it is impossible to show only hockey throughout the action, so there prevail relations between people (between hockey players, between guys and a coach, between parents and guys and a coach, etc.), and love lines, where without them in the youth series broadcast on STS? That’s what frightened me initially. Yes - hockey, yes - struggle, but those judicial vicissitudes. However, despite the sufficient volume of the relational spectrum, all this is less watchable, because the main character here is hockey. Hockey is really cool here. Seriously. All this rolling, wrestling, excitement. The final match looks real and you start to really worry about the guys. And in general, in my opinion, the main idea is to show how one common idea can unite a group of people who are different from each other and change them.
The actor’s component here is very different: there are frankly wooden, and there are perfectly opened. Yeah, maybe it depends on the characters, and I might agree with that. For example, there is a very bright and detailed Andrey Kislyak (Vlad Kanopka), who manages to go full circle: from a selfish scoundrel to a person who is ready to sacrifice his interests for the sake of his team. There is Sergey Makeev (Denis Nikiforov) - a principled coach who was able to teach the guys to be united, to be a team. There are Kazantsev (Vladimir Zaitsev - Tony Stark, by the way, or I broke my whole head: where the voice is familiar) a calculating and straight villain. I would also note Igor Ogurtsov (Semyon Bakin), whom I saw in the role of a brazen hooligan in the TV series ' School' and here he plays the complete antipode to that image, and even questions arise about the fact whether he was able to enter the role and reliably show a quiet and domestic boy.
They are present here, but not as many as I expected (and I have already apologized). The fact that in May the playoffs are no longer played (in one of the scenes the guys watch the KHL match) in principle, you can close your eyes. The main thing is that the series can help cultivate the idea of sports among boys, setting them on the right path. And if after watching 'Youth' someone wanted to play hockey, and not sit at the computer or hang out on the entrances, then we are already on the right path.

I can say that I am not a fan of Russian TV series, especially those that are stamped by the STS channel. The Bears came out by accident. There was an hour and a TV. As it turned out, enough 10 minutes of viewing that “Youth” delayed. it became interesting, watched all the series, and several a day. I watched the whole series of "Youth" in a week.
I can give a high rating for an idea. The promotion of sports in our time is more important than ever. Series about hockey no longer comes to mind, at least domestic production. Training and matches are well shown - dynamically, brightly and professionally. As a comedy in the series shows the situation with Semyon Bakin and his father, black humor Kazantsev and Romanenko, Kalinin, as well as a considerable number of jokes and jokes.
Here you can see not only the harsh everyday life of young hockey players, but also life situations - relationships with the parents of a beloved girl; a difficult situation in the family; betrayal of a friend or girl; and a sufficient number of very unusual situations, about which everyone thinks "This will not happen to me." But not enough.
Separately, There are a lot of moments when the characters leave the conversation and do not want to tell anything. There are too many such episodes and they are boring! At first you close your eyes to it, but then it annoys.
I want to talk about the cast separately. To show hockey at such a high level, while also playing your role well, is not an easy task. The guys are very young and talented. Everyone with character, with principles, sometimes behave very childishly, but still in the series they are children, although their problems are not childish.
Antipov (aggressive, but heartfelt) and Bakin (timid, but rather cute) were especially sympathetic. The only one caused irritation throughout the series - Marina's friend, Lena (Victoria Egoshina). Not because of your character, but because of your game. I didn't believe a word.
The soundtrack is not stressful, but memorable. Melodic songs, with meaning and theme. And it does not matter that the songs are few, but they fit perfectly with the picture.

To begin with, why did I start watching this series? Many advised, and STS constantly advertised it. Besides, I just had nothing to see. I had planned to do this a long time ago and now is the right time. First of all, did I like the series in general? Yes and no. As in all series, there are pros and cons. Let's figure it out.
Let's start with acting. Overall, they played well. But let's start in order:
Alexander Kostrov (Ivan Zhvakin) - he did not particularly remember me. Only by sulking at Jan all the time. There were moments when I wanted Yana to leave him for Kislyak. And the whole series was kind of passive.
Semen Bakin (Igor Ogurtsov) - that's who really fits his name. The whole series was mumbled, and I wanted to stir it up. Although it seems to be a mattress, and the girl dug herself up.
Sour (Vlad Kanopka) - that's who pleased me personally. Not only handsome, but also the only positive player as I thought in the whole team, who always made me smile with his catchphrase 'Hello girls'
Makeev (Denis Nekiforov) - he is of course insanely attractive and seems quite a good actor, but something was missing in him. He was too serious. By the way, what struck me about his hero is that he constantly ran after Yulia Antipova (Anton’s mother), who was writhing herself out of touch and constantly lied to him.
Anton Antipov (Ivan Moulin) - so I did not understand what he is. Fighting all the time. And that's why he's in trouble. I didn't understand the joke with Pirogova, what side was she put to him? They don't fit together at all. . .
Marina Kasatkina (Julia Margulis) - The girl's all over herself. Spinning all the time, spinning like a yula. Throughout the series, I counted all her scams, all her deceptions.
Yana Samoilova (Anna Mikhailovskaya) - everywhere plays a bitch, and here is such a clever and beautiful. She felt sorry for her when she was chasing Kostrov. He kept sulking and sulking, and she asked for forgiveness.
Kazantsev and Romanenko - and here is not without a freak. In general, they coped well with the roles, the only thing that drove me out of them was the continuous chewing of gum. Julia Antipova - throughout the series specifically pissed off her behavior. 39: Can you tell the truth? It would be better for everyone & #39; I wanted to scream at the screen. Nikolai Dobrynin was very pleased. I didn't expect to meet him here. p.s. Ponamarev's father stopped drinking too quickly. It doesn't happen. It's not a bad show. There is so much more love than hockey. If you want real hockey, it's not here.
When I was a kid, I played hockey for a few years. I am very vague, but at the same time very fondly remember this time, teammates, coaches. We started playing links (I think I played the second one). We were about to start competing. And then the ice hall in the city was closed due to the debts of the owner. When it was opened after a while, finding a new owner, I had already engaged in freestyle wrestling, with which I connected my life for 10 years. Why do I remember that? It's very simple. In addition to the advantages that I will talk about, ' Youth' hooked me also by making me nostalgic, recall cases 20 years ago. And on this sentimental wave, I rolled a few episodes until the plot and atmosphere caught me in the whole.
I'm not a big hockey fan at all. I only support Russia at major tournaments, and I support the local Estonian team, but my uncle is a former hockey player, one brother is a current hockey player, the other is a referee (judges the World and European Championships), one of my best friends is a hockey player. I've always liked hockey players for their bragging, their charm, their arrogance, their impenetrable confidence. I always wanted to be the same, but I never got it. And this series gave me the opportunity, if not to become a hockey player myself, then to observe the life of astronauts & #39; from the front row.
If I had known the name of the director before I began to watch ' Youth', then, very probably, I would not have watched this series at all. ' Soldiers', ' Cadets', ' Ranetki' and other frank pop is all very not mine. A' Youth' is very much mine. I wish Sergei Arlanov to focus, of course, not on my tastes (who am I really?), but on the quality of work demonstrated by him in this project.
There is an opinion that heroes who are too good or too bad are not serious, that they must be contradictory, complex, and not stereotypical. It seems that in ' Youth' most of the characters on the contrary are very stereotyped: there are principled, there are vile, there are weak, there are cowards and traitors, there are romantics, etc. And almost every type can easily substitute the epithet 'finished': scoundrel, idealist, etc. But here's the paradox. Such a perfectly clear separation - without whitewashing the bad guys and vilifying the good guys - doesn't hurt the show in the slightest. It even reminded me to some extent of Comedy del Arte - the Italian Comedy of Masks & #39, where the same masks / characters, well known to the viewer, repeatedly act out different performances, continuing to arouse the interest of the viewer.
As it seemed to me, the specific weight of the villains & #39; in & #39; Youth & #39; even more significant than the weight of positive characters. It is very important in youth stories not to slide into vanilla and sugar snot, not to make the viewer get bored, showing only a perfect and kind world. In this regard, just a great job is being done just ' villains'. Only at some point will the viewer begin to crook from the infatuation of relations, as Vlad Kanopka (Andrey Kislyak) of such a sour man will give that his jaw will skew - and immediately an emotion is born - hatred, anger - and therefore a new round of interest. Regularly sophisticated to kill in the process of viewing (and this, in my opinion, the best praise for the actors who played ' villains') wanted Kazantsev (Vladimir Zaitsev), Romanenko (Sergey Komarov) and Marina (Yulia Margulis). Rarely convincing role they came out. Rabbits are generally something - one of the cinematic geniuses of villainy.
Of course, good and positive characters: captaincy captain Egor Shchukin, and funny sleepy Senya Bakin, and rabid and furious Antipov, and a guy with a difficult fate Ponomarev, and the right fire.
Undoubtedly, this series would not have been so successful if not for the figure of Sergei Petrovich Makeev. I confess that at some point I stopped watching and climbed the Internet to find information about the hockey player Makeev, who was injured and ruined a promising career. In my opinion, this is the best role of Denis Nikiforov. And I want to believe that such Makeyevs exist somewhere. You'd make nails out of people like that. To meet such a teacher is a gift for life.
What I also liked about this series was the interaction of the actors/characters with everyone and in separate bundles. Very strong ties have developed, endowed with strong traits of attitude. Here first of all come to mind Kazantsev-Romanenko, Makeev-VasGen.
I’m re-reading what I’ve written and I know I’m not saying a word about how this series is a great hockey ad. Maybe it is, but for me it is clearly not in the first place. I really liked this concept in general 'hockey with a human face', in which, however, there is a place for agreements, and set-ups, and sit-ins, in which mercilessly break and at the same time temper yesterday's boys entering adult life.
In short, for me ' Youth' - a very pleasant discovery, at times resembling beautiful 'Simple truth'.
10 out of 10
P.S.Seni Bakin's dreams are my favorite feature of the series.
In general, I liked the series, but the open (precisely open and not hidden) advertising of “Nivea” was very annoying.
I watched the series with my daughter – she is 15 years old (transitional age), here we were united in everything, worried about the heroes, cheered during the “matches”. Bears, as in live, and in live we go with her very often, when our MHL team plays at home. here the problem disappears - fathers and children, this is a big plus of the series. But there are disadvantages: through the frenzy twisted relationship between the heroes of the team - some "Santa Barbara" directly. against this background, the sport goes to the background, and should the contrary - hockey in the first place and everything else is secondary. Irritated the hero - Kostrov, too correct and zealous in relation to his father, it does not paint him, but on the contrary repels, and all his sports merits go to tar-tarara. It is not for him to judge his father or mother, and it is not for him that his parents divorce first ... further on, I do not even want to write about this - so much emotion, and how he treats his girlfriend is a separate topic.
At the heart of the series is still Hockey, it is done by the writers cool, but there is something that I would like to see in the second season. I have been practicing amateur hockey for 42 years for 7 years, I, as well as young, novice hockey players, would be interested in highlighting more the plot about training. but after watching this series, I did not discover anything new for myself, maybe the authors did not set a goal for someone to teach hockey games, in my youth, video salons were very popular my generation watched films about karate, kung fu, martial arts, after these films I wanted to turn the turntables, beat the "mavasha", "ecogeri" and so on, and we did it, as others did not talk about the combination of training, but he does not even show me. And the game, such a feeling alone scored beautifully, please note - it is beautifully scored goals and power reception, in this game everything is not so. if you forget a goal through a skate, well, then show at training how to teach this guys, just so it is not given to everyone so to score a goal. Morozov got into the plot, yes, class, I dreamed he would show a master class, or his favorite feature and teach the guys something new, but when they showed the series with his simple game and at the end "thank you for the memories of childhood" was not impressed, but even disappointed. The only thing that was in this regard was at the beginning when Makeev showed a pass one in two, but even then he was pressed on board and about God it turns out he had a strong injury and everything - there is no master class, and the second coach - he generally knows anything except intrigues, for the whole series he did not hold a stick on the ice, he can skate at all?
About the sponsor in general a separate topic for conversations - money is not the main thing - but although the main one, but when the half-word interrupts the telephone conversation and the conversation does not continue further, this is disrespectful to the interlocutor, how he found Makeev - it is unclear.
Bakin’s father was right in the end – “Until you see a live game of hockey, you will not love and will not understand hockey” I am in solidarity with him in this.
I’m not going to go around the bush and say it’s a great movie! Worth watching! I loved the movie so much that I suddenly wanted to watch a hockey game. How!
Of course, there are shortcomings, but in general it looks decent. I’ve seen a lot of sports, so you can trust me and check it out.
And now more about the moments that I liked, and which are not.
I'll start with a nice one. Although the main plot line is standard (there is a team of losers who become winners), there are some nuances. You can see it yourself if you watch the movie. The actors didn't blow it up like that. Natural play, good dialogue. Of course, it evokes the sympathy of Makeyev. In my opinion, a real man who can be relied on. I really liked VasGen. This Dr. Aibolit treats, as it turned out, not only the body, but also the soul. A pure, sincere person with severe pain in the heart, who is not angry, but tries to help others.
And also liked the hero of Vladimir Zaitsev (Kazantsev). Yes, the character in the film is negative, but what a texture! Only a true professional can play this way! Cynical, brash, lying, evil, quirky, but still so charming that it was a pleasure to look at him.
The boys and girls also played well. Someone may scold that the characters are played or not sufficiently stretched, personally in my opinion, everything is in moderation.
How vividly shown is the ice! That's beyond words. We have to look! Training, games, training again and games! Beautiful and fascinating.
So what didn't I like when everything was so great? And did not like the work of the writers even more than annoying advertising 'Nivei'. As mentioned earlier, the main narrative line is standard, but the elaboration of heroes and ideological outbursts look disgusting.
First, the film is designed for young people. And it is quite clear that in the first place are the concepts of friendship, honor, mutual understanding and support. But why do young guys already at this age push on the concept 'baba'? I was terrified when the young guys said 'foolishly quarrels over a woman' What will young people see in this? That women should not be respected in principle? That's exactly what will happen. It was possible to build a storyline differently and show how important friendship is, but not at the expense of naming girls ' Babs' and if you quarreled over a girl, then she is not at all guilty. It feels like the script was written by misogynists and sexists. ' We are so good, and ' Babs' should sit at home and cook borscht' Ugh, gross. Gentlemen, writers, shame on you.
Secondly, moralists such as Yegor Shchukin are terribly shown. A kind of right boy who doesn’t even care about the life of his girlfriend, his mother. The girl pays attention when she wants to leave him. And also claims that she does not prepare anything for him, although she also does sports and studies. Tea is not a stone age, if you want to eat, cook yourself and show an example. But he is more interested in digging into the personal life of his younger brother.
Another selfish moralist is Antipos. Mother must live with him, and anyone who encroaches on the hand and heart of a parent is punished with a terrible warning. I know, youthful maximalism and all that, but something is in excess.
Another moral jealous Kostrov. It's on the verge of fantasy. At the age of 16, you are jealous of your paranoid girl. What's next? The burqa? Or an axe to the head? That's why we show this to our young people. And something the same Kostrov with his father quarreled about 'baba'. Where's the moral? And logic?
Third, these are the eternal secrets of all the heroes of the series! Aah! I hated it throughout the film. It is clear that all the secret eventually became apparent, but always proud faces and phrases like ' I can’t say it, it’s not my secret, you don’t need to know' – sincerely annoyed. Yes, some things are not worth divulging, but there is something that just needs to be told. And all these excuses are absolutely useless.
Maybe someone will disagree with me, because this is only my personal opinion about the series. Excluding all clumsy ideological moments, the film was a success. So 8 out of 10. I will be watching you again!
P.S. And information for the attentive. In 37, 38 or 39 episodes (I don’t remember in which one), when Rita comes to the Bakins, and they are all sitting at the table, and behind the backs of Bakin’s parents there are kitchen cabinets, a large one crawls around the closet. . . Cockroach! Hello to the editing team!
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who made this picture. First, this series gathered everyone at home, both old and young, to watch this picture. Secondly, it is the promotion of sports, which our country and hockey in particular need in the run-up to the Olympics. Thirdly, exciting and very pleasant.
Let’s start with pleasant moments, recently this is one of the most touching series on our television, really kind and positive, there is no vulgarity, excessive rudeness. On the contrary, a good family series. If you take it from the point of view of viewability, then you can watch it endlessly. I think the storyline is too long. A lot of unnecessary scenes, sometimes the film from one game to another 3 days, and the series stretches for 4. And be sure to see the series capture the action in detail for each hero, even if not as basic as Nazarov. I really liked Bakin’s dreams, very cool and funny at the same time. Episodes with Morozov, Fetisov only add interest and entertainment to the film.
Separately, I want to talk about the female roles of the series, or rather about the friends of hockey players. In their relationship with hockey players, it seems that the female and male roles have changed places, just the girls are too active and they get guys rather than as guys should mostly do it. The girl Kostrova, she goes after him, she runs, says a kiss to me, did not have time Antipov to get acquainted with the girl, as she already here as here and the passage does not give him, Bakina girl is also not very patient, did not have time for Semyon to lose her claw so she is here as here, the girl from the support group already hangs on Dima Shchukin, and this is even without taking into account how many girls Kislyak had. Ponomarev did not have time to take a picture of his figure skater, but she can not live without him for a day, he somehow bypasses her and she like a tail behind him. This rather suggests that all the guys in the first place is hockey, rather than girls, and they give more to him than their soul mates, although judging by some episodes, they are the apples of discord in their hockey passions.
Advertising still stands out in the film, these sponsorship things like I went to bathe, and of course I wash myself. Everyone wears only strictly ribok, like professional hockey players signing contracts. And with the brands of cars to remove badges is generally like sacrilege, Mercedes without a girl Kostrova without a badge somehow does not look.
That's if the film fit the series in 20, then the price it would not be, and there would be a solid nine, and for blurring, and overlying chewing like all the passion for the film disappears, but it is already nitpicking to the film. You can see that the actors are doing everything right, hockey moments are all beautifully played. All the most popular hockey moments were made and bullies, removals, fights, replacing the player with a sixth fielder, even the puck from the skate, injuries. In general, everything that gives hockey charm and beauty.
Thanks to the creators, everything was great. We are waiting for the second season in the MHL.
8 out of 10
As you begin to watch such projects, they begin to be actively advertised on the broadcast channel, posters and posters are hung everywhere in the city. The better the advertising, the brighter it is - the more people it will attract to view at least the first series, then of course may not catch the viewing, but it so happens that you need to watch at least 3-5 episodes so that the series is interested and you yourself without realizing it begin to become dependent on the series.
This series, apparently, was conceived as a kind of incentive to attract young people to sports, specifically hockey. And, apparently, also against the background of the well-proven film “Legend No. 17” decided to consolidate the success, making this series.
I have an ambiguous opinion about this series - I can not perceive it as a message for hockey, I do not have the desire to give future children to hockey after watching the series. Rather, this series is perceived simply as a show, as another project, after watching which nothing useful will be deposited on the shelves of the brain and in the heart. Also in the series imposed advertising "Nivea", which is sometimes annoying. It was necessary to make advertising less intrusive and as if accidentally show a particular product - not so openly.
The idea is good, but everything that happens in the series pushes away the desire to go to hockey. Take at least the owner of the team “Bears”, oligarch Oleg Igorevich Kalinin – not attentive, quite rude, thinking only about money and fame. He appears only at matches, as you can see not much caring about his wards, periodically giving handouts in the form of money or other things. Money is good, even sometimes they save from death, but somehow everything is insincere. On the one hand, it is also possible to understand him - he wants to benefit from this deal, that is, from the purchase of a team, but his periodic appearance in the frame is rather annoying - he does not let the phone out of his hands and, without agreeing with the interlocutor, switches to a telephone conversation, which indicates disrespect and rudeness. So I like this character no more than a corrupt sports director with his henchman Romanenko - the second coach of the team, who are trying to prevent the new Bears coach, and looking for benefits first of all for themselves and setting everyone up.
The cast is not bad, the guys are trying, the actors are already known, such as Denis Nikiforov and Vladimir Zaitsev – perfectly cope with their roles. Fyodor Bondarchuk also seemed to have been in his role all his life - great. The usual love lines for series, disassemblies and absurdities - everything is present here. Quite monotonous in sports terms, the series - in each series, training, some movements on the ice, 70% of the series is the relationship of the heroes, and hockey, as such, is quite a bit. Maybe it should have been, but something is not exactly what you expect.
Bottom line: the series as a whole is quite weak in terms of campaigning, but as an ordinary average person has the right to be. Of course, if this project has a positive impact on someone, that’s great, but frankly, I don’t think it will succeed. The success of "Legends 17" is not achieved here. I would like to see a more serious project, a more thoughtful one. The rating of this film “16+”, I don’t know, in order to start playing hockey somehow it’s too late and the audience is probably not quite the same, you need rather “12+” and earlier – an adult will not be particularly interested, as it seems to me, and a teenager will choose a project more interesting, rather foreign. In our country, a huge number of all sorts of TV series come out, which are mostly about the war, about the showdown between bandits, about political terror and the Soviet government, as well as peculiar soap operas for housewives, and really useful TV series once or twice and cheated. So thank you to the creators for trying to create something patriotic and useful – it turned out well, but something was constantly lacking. Oh, yeah, what's the ending to the movie?
Well, finally ended the first season of this extremely unusual for the Russian format of the series. To be honest, I have never been a special lover of Russian TV series - usually our series are overloaded with either flat jokes, or cops and bandits, or superfluous love snot' or they just copy themselves several times.
But in ' Youth' I fell in love the first time. After all, there were no such series yet, where the main idea was love for sports, team spirit, the desire to win. And this makes me very captivating and therefore, I watch almost all sports dramas with great eagerness, even if they do not shine with the plot, acting or quality of the sports themselves.
And like any other object of love, this series is not perfect. Yes, I, as a guy, was not at all interested in watching endless love affairs. And moreover, sometimes I just put my hand on my face because the same Makeev resented Yulia because of some little thing. Well, these green young hockey players sometimes do not restrain themselves and do stupid things, but adults ... I know it’s a series, but it’s a sports series – less snot and intrigue and more play, more team spirit, more personal qualities. Still, the guys also watch this series and not everyone is interested in watching these endless costs of many series in the form of intrigue and snot.
Also, as someone who trains in Thai boxing to rock music or drama, it was not quite customary for me to listen to these lyrical tunes during matches or just as a background to events.
And yet, the show forgives everything and forgets everything when guys go out on the ice. It doesn’t matter if it’s a training session or a final in front of young people. To be honest, I watched every Bears match with a faint heart. I rooted for them like a real team. And it was really interesting to watch -- that's where the whole crew was doing their best. Matches take place at a fast, aggressive, tough, purposeful pace. It feels like testosterone. "" That's what I started watching this series for. "" And that's what I expected from the show -- when hockey players go out on ice, the rest of the world doesn't exist. Problems, adversity, intrigue, personal life, social life, grinding within the team - all this remains there, behind the side. There are only you and your team, and there are rivals, who will leave the winner, who will lose. And the most interesting thing is that for the audience, the same thing happens - all the problems and adversity remain there, now only the game is important and nothing else. So the effect of immersion in the atmosphere of matches is made on a solid 5 with a plus. I'm not looking away.
Now for acting and storytelling. There is really nothing to say about acting. This is not theater, not melodrama or art house. It is important to just play realistically - and the heroes cope with this hurrah. Trust everyone.
I especially want to mention Nikiforov’s character – Sergey Makeev. Restrained, strong in spirit, fair - a true leader. It is felt in his eyes, in his voice, in his confident gait. I personally immensely respect such people and consider it necessary as many such characters as possible on television, otherwise, frankly, the scumbags and weaklings who survive as much as they can in this harsh world are tired of TV series and films, sometimes I want to just look at the life of an ordinary, simple, but at the same time very strong body and spirit of an ordinary person.
I also want to praise the actor Vladimir Zaitsev, who plays Vadim Kazantsev. Honestly, I would never have thought that it was he who gave the beautiful Russian voiceover to Tony Stark - the Iron Man and the attention he gave him. To the Joker from the Dark Knight, the voice acting of this character I consider probably the best in the entire history of Russian dubbing . . If it wasn’t for the wiki, I would never have recognized in this commercial director with a trading character the voice that voiced such a charismatic character as the Joker. Bravo Vladimir to your acting game )
The plot is exactly what it should be - not too fast, but also does not sag. Almost every character in the series is revealed and shown from different angles.
Again, I want to remind you about this sometimes excessive emotionality of almost all the characters in terms of the same grievances or jealousies - man, they are really a lot of respected screenwriters. Well, okay, one character once suffocated on someone, well, two, but when honoring in each series there is a resentment against someone on an absolutely flat place, I do not know how the female audience, but I will say for the male - we are not interested!!
Oh, come on. Otherwise, the plot is exactly what it should be for sports drama formats - sometimes an unexpected denouement, sometimes intrigue, and sometimes sadness, and sometimes unrestrained emotions, everything is like in life and this is the perfect recipe. But the whole point is not in the plot, but in the game itself and the atmosphere. The team managed this.
In general, as far as I know the second season will be and personally I want the new season to have more testosterone and less estrogen ) A little more hockey and a little less intrigue 1 season was a hurrah, waiting for the second
P.S. And yes, add the incendiary music and then the price of the series will not be.
P.S.S. It is very pleasant that the quality of Russian TV series is improving ) And a special thank you to the series for promoting sports .
8 out of 10
Prior to this series, our good film was shot ' Legend #17' and on the wave of success, STS decided to make a series about hockey.
I don't like the CTC series, the only series I've seen is 'Kitchen' and now the script is starting to pump up a lot.
But the first series was quite interesting. Qualitatively removed hockey matches. Actors don’t seem to fake much. In general, lookable and even catchy.
But now, after watching episode 12, I realize that everything slides into Russian hockey Santa Barbara.
Plot
The plot revolves around the youth hockey team 'Bears'. In the series there are conflicts ' parents and children', ' ordinary people and elite', ' love', ' friendship', ' self-interest' and even ' corruption'. There's a lot of stuff in the story. But what did the authors do, let’s take a closer look.
Operational work
The creators of the film took advantage of the experience of filmmakers - live plans, not scenery, panoramas, well shown matches. In general, the picture looks good.
Script and dialogue
You can now turn around in more detail. The idea for the Russian series is very original, but on the condition that the plot will be very thinly thought out. There will indeed be some twists and turns. What do we see? Yes, the first series is all focused on hockey, team building, team spirit. And then what? And then the authors deflated, and Santa Barbara went. I have a feeling that soon there will be an angry double Makeev (as in Brazilian TV series) or it will turn out that Antipov’s half-brother Makeev is boring.
In dialogue, authors can be praised and punished. The authors do not feel their characters. You are a youngster, that is, players from 16 years old (and in the series the main characters are 18 and older). And the characters will introduce themselves as teenagers at 14 during the transition period. But there are interesting dialogues I will not hide, not all managed to spoil.
Actors
Actors for the first time were selected more competently. They look like they are 18-20 years old. In most of our series, 15-16-year-olds play 25-year-olds.
They also play truthfully, you sympathize with someone, you don't like someone. But unfortunately, the guys are limited, not a very good scenario.
Russian TV series, it is in Africa 'Russian TV series'
Unfortunately, the film bomb was not created by the authors. Oh, come on, they didn't have a great series, and it didn't work out well either. It’s just an average, but I’m afraid it will only get worse.
I would also like to mention the flaws in all of our series, especially this one. Someone in his review wrote that the soundtracks were not poorly selected. I agree with that. But only for Episode 1. And then these soundtracks are used in each subsequent series, at exactly the same moment, here are the two main soundtracks for 12! series: Intonation - Headlights, in almost every series, the middle of the series, show some dramatic moments in a slightly slow motion and without sound (that is, only the soundtrack plays). And NewTone - Run - while training or playing.
I can’t even compare with American TV shows. Remember the series 'Clinic' where for each 20 minute series selected from 3 to 6 new soundtracks. For 8 seasons I managed to collect a whole album of music. And in 'Youth' these musical inserts, which only delay the airtime, begin to infuriate.
It’s just as irritating to be cut off in the most interesting place to keep people watching the show. I have a feeling that the series only starts in the middle, because all series are built in this format (except the first series). Razjaka (the end of the meaning of the last series) - Oziyazka (the feeling of a new series begins somewhere in the middle) - The culmination and break the series, watch the denouement in the next series. And so all 12 episodes, I just have the feeling that the person who cut the 40-minute series just went off for 20 minutes, because of this series come out like this: half the end of that previous series + the beginning of the next series.
Well, how to forget the kind of hidden advertising. The covert commercial was in the film 'Taxi' when we just saw Peugeot's car, which the main character drove. And when I'm shown NIVEA shampoo or deodorant all over the screen, it's not hidden advertising. It's a shame. I don’t understand how Nivea could have gotten to that level. Disgusting.
Output
I can't advise you to watch it. The series is very well advertised, very good and interesting characters, good views and camera work, a good initial idea.
BUT. The further the worse, there are many shortcomings that cannot be closed. Poorly worked out scenario (apparently rushed to the wave of success & #39; Legend #17). In general, the maximum I can put:
5 out of 10
They try to make a good product, add something new, but greed takes its toll. And this series was put on the rusty tracks of our serial cinema, sparing money to create really something new, something really good.
I did not expect from myself that I would watch this series, since I am not a sports fan, and I also do not particularly regret Russian TV series. But something hooked, and I now watch it, not a masterpiece, there are minuses, but there are also a large number of stories intertwined in one big knot.
What's the show about? About hockey, about becoming losers who all the time lost - a team, everyone has their own problems, their own life, but every time they go on the ice, they must forget how different they are all, and become one whole to win. This is the story, and then watch for yourself. . .
A bit about the characters:
Makeev (Denis Nikiforov) - coach 'Bears', a man whom the guys almost immediately respected, calm, but if you get angry a little will not seem. This character slowly opens up and even begins to look at him in the course of the series with different eyes.
Romanenko (Sergei Komarov) - the second coach, is not distinguished by the presence of brains, and always tries to annoy someone, well, like a small one. Here he is, sometimes wildly annoying, sometimes you look, and think: ' Well, are there people so stupid?'.
Egor (Alexander Sokolovsky) - the captain of the team, a certain leader of the madhouse that occurs in the team, a good authority. However, I do not understand their relationship with Marina, sometimes I want to say: ' Well, guys, maybe enough, you either meet or run away!' Of course, I understand that he is busy, but if he is dating a girl, then at least for decency I would ask how she is doing.
Sour (Vlad Kanopka) - the so-called playboy, major, but if you want to be a good guy, such are everywhere present, like the whole world at his feet, well at least the female part (in his understanding).
Misha (Ilya Korobko) - when you look at him, there is a feeling that not all is lost, there are still such guys, he is kind of timid, but is not afraid of any work, wants justice, and the way he raises himself and his grandmother, when his father drinks all the time, commands respect.
Bakin (Igor Ogurtsov) - eternal reserve, goalkeeper, for the most part only in his dreams, he seems to be soft-bodied, and does not know how to stand up for himself, but then shows his character, he should be bolder.
Dima (Makar Zaporozhyesky) - a genius in almost all subjects, and also an athlete. The only thing I don't understand is what's the joke with the girl? Well, if she doesn't like hockey, then don't watch it, what's the problem? She will be dating Dima, not hockey.
Sasha (Ivan Zhvakin) - he is some kind of correct, and seems to manage everywhere, and the guy is not bad, but not yet fully revealed the character, well, this is only the beginning, time will tell. Is it so hard to ask a girl if she has anything to do with someone else? No, you have to sulk.
Alina (Maria Ivashchenko) - I like this heroine, simple, intelligent, I am not afraid of this word sweet, not afraid to take the first step, and also a skater. My mother is a great mother.
Marina (Julia Margulis) - plays the first beauty, and the first smart girl, in fact a capricious bitch who nevertheless knows what she wants, although some stupid actions do not confirm her status, but you understand that she is also a person.
Lena (Victoria Egoshina) - that's who infuriates, so infuriating. Barbie with a doll brain, can you be that stupid? Here either the screenwriters did a good job, or the actress clearly overplays, but the fact that she overtook everyone in her stupidity is undoubtedly.
Is it worth watching? I don't know, it's up to you. I have no regrets, the series is not super brilliant, but there are life situations in it, watching at least one episode you will not lose anything, because who knows, may be delayed?
8 out of 10
It's an interesting situation. The series fits well into the Russian film industry, compared to other projects, but in the global industry, the chances are not great. Relevant expression 'poet among shit and shit among poets'. But there is a certain uplift. The series is quite lively, dynamic, interesting, but has gross shortcomings:
1. Templates.
From the action on the screen to the dialogue of the characters:
Hockey moments are monotonous, as well as the very position of shooting (the angle almost does not change), it is not possible to fully imbue the game. Where is the excitement, where is the adrenaline that we experience watching real competitions?
Some characters are too straightforward, especially the sponsor and the team director. I understand that people who hold such positions are always busy, that their work is higher than the roof, but why overdo it? The screen seems not quite vegetables sit (although, depending on what audience it is designed).
2. Uniformity.
If Bondarchuk is in the frame, then the old song about solving financial issues will begin (mainly knocking out debts), his attitude to the team is especially unpleasant. If in the frame of Romanenko, then the whole scene will go on his nausea, complaints and chewing gum, which with the same incredible success chews his insidious colleague - Director.
- Music. During hockey, such compositions should not be played. Music should inspire, charge with emotions, this is a sport, not checkers!
3. Advertising.
- Advertising at the most interesting moment - the most terrible, you think. No, the only thing worse than advertising in the series itself. She is as dumb as the face of an actor who looks at what he advertises.
These are perhaps the most significant flaws of the series. Overall, not bad. His 7 points are well deserved. Bondarchuk correctly noted that if the series makes the guys go to the sport, and not for a bottle, then the work was not done in vain.
After watching a couple of episodes, I want to express my very subjective opinion about this series. At the very beginning of the film flashes the emblem of the KHL (Continental Hockey League), but what we begin to show is not about hockey and team spirit, determination, thirst for victory. At least I didn't see it. What do we see? But here's what: intrigue, jokes, goofy jokes, n-teen lovelines, greed, dislike, etc. - in general, all the same as in other soap operas. Only the scenery has changed: instead of mansions and offices, stadiums. I especially like the soundtrack, consisting of no more than five compositions, which the filmmakers make us listen to again and again at every opportunity, for which they are personally grateful.
Let's move on to the cast. A series designed for young people should not be replete with talented actors, screenwriters, directors. All you need is a beautiful picture to look at. The actors may be cute, but I can't call them talented. And I hear the voice of the director all the time: And here, make a sad face and press the Reset button on your phone. I would like more diverse and distinctive characters. And in general, I have a lot of complaints against Russian actors: everything they do is a “serious person” with whom they sit somewhere, talk with someone, go somewhere. Our actors have succeeded in that. But the wildest bewilderment to me is the actor who advertises Citroen. How? How is he even invited to roles? He plays all TV series the same - with the same face and says something in a serious voice.
And you ask yourself, did you have a desire to take a club after watching this series? Huh? What? Nope? So I didn't. I'm disappointed, I've been waiting for a sports show, and in the end, whining about social inequality, unrequited love, collective relationships.
I just want to note that the series is designed in the style of “Cadestvo”. It is not difficult to guess, even without knowing the name of the director, that both these series were directed by the same person.
The series leaves a pleasant impression, but first I want to note the few shortcomings.
As in "Cadetism", the ear is cut by dialogue. All roles. First said one hero, then another. Everyone else is silent at this time. I don't know about you, but I find these conversations a little unnatural. This is unlikely to happen in life, especially if there are more than three people in the room, and certainly a whole team of young athletes. In general, if not for this flaw, the picture would look more realistic. The second drawback is the lack of coaches in training for the support group and skaters. And in general, the training of a real support group does not go this way. It has nothing to do with what is shown in the “Youth”. If the creators of the series undertook to make a quality product - it was worth paying more attention to the details.
Now for the good. Most actors are really emotional. Someone angry, someone pity, another cheers and makes you smile. It is clear that the cast was selected very competently. The guys look great in the frame.
The second plus can be considered the format of shooting. Filmed both indoors and on the street, in the hall. In general, the picture changes, and it pleases the eyes. The quality of domestic TV shows is growing!
Pleasant music, just so simple and easy, in the style of the series successfully selected and harmoniously combined with the main mood of this picture.
In fact, a huge plus can be considered the very idea of the series - a good example for young guys! Sport is health, education of willpower, character.
There are not many positive examples on the Internet and TV.
"Youth" is a nice exception!
As a result, I'll put 7 l 10. There is something to strive for, but I still recommend to view fans of easy good movies.
Hockey is when you are broken, your strength is extinguished, and you still go out on the ice and play. And you're in! That's hockey.
Okay. “Youth”, “Youth”, “Youth”. This series came out only a week ago, but I heard about it so often that I had the impression that it was coming... well, at least six months for sure. What does this have to do with it?
It is difficult to say when exactly this happened, but somehow imperceptibly and very sharply, hockey came into vogue. Or rather, it has always been famous here, but it is now that more and more films, TV series and programs related to this sport have begun to appear. What's the big deal, anyway? We don’t have to look at American vampires. Why do we need them when we have sportsmen? That's good, let them get carried away. But most importantly, in moderation, of course, without fanaticism.
So STS decided to contribute to this, choosing young handsome actors for the main roles of its new series. It's not a bad game to play.
In general, if we talk about the work done, STS, of course, thoroughly engaged in this series. At least the fact that they visited several cities with the presentation of the series says something. This is not typical for STS, although they release TV series very often. This suggests that they made a big bet on him. And in fact, this bet played.
It's not a bad show, really. So far, I can’t say more, because I’ve only watched two episodes, and it’s very difficult to understand for sure, but the fact that the series is made qualitatively, as I’ve already noted, is immediately apparent. At least on the scenes with the game.
Someone here compared this series to Cadetship, but I would rather compare it to Closed School, for example. Because “Cadetship” is a much more “childish” series, it’s not a sitcom, but there are much more comedies there than in “Youth”. So far, I have seen mostly drama. There are jokes, but there are very few of them, and these are not even jokes, probably, but comic situations. But in the list of genres the word “comedy” is not, so there can be no complaints.
All in all, a very good start. Although, of course, I would like more humor, it would dilute a bit of the series. I hope it only gets better. So far 8.
I am quite skeptical about Russian cinema in general, not to mention the TV series shot here. I’m a big hockey fan, so for a Russian hockey series to like me, something akin to a miracle had to happen. And it happened.
Yes, quite a tolerable game of actors, someone overplays, someone does not play, but in general - the picture is very, very pleasant.
Adequate shooting of the game and training process.
Yes, I understand that the topic of hockey here is not quite dominant, and that the series tells us about the problems of teenagers, about relationships, first love, betrayal, friendship, etc. But that doesn’t seem so naive.
The most important thing is why my attitude to the series has become more than loyal - if at least a few dozen teenagers, after watching it, instead of cigarettes and beer, take sticks in their hands and go to the nearest hockey sections, if at least a few people change their views on life, then all this was not in vain.
The series takes its deserved 5 points. A tough middle man.
You may not be an athlete, but you must love hockey.
In our glorious state, they love hockey very much, they love it so much that even Stas Yarushin makes his own shooting schedule so as not to miss a single game of Chelyabinsk ' Traktor'. When someone utters this cherished word, the air is filled with millions of magical particles that capture the minds of everyone they reach. So - 'Hockey' and we continue.
Surely you have heard about the new TV series STC & #39; Youth & #39;. If you haven’t heard, I highly recommend going to Google, the benefit of the series is worth it. For his presentation in Chelyabinsk came actors (some of whom Chelyabinsk could study in the same school), producers and Denis ArtemKolchin Nikiforov. There were several press conferences, cheerleaders contest, the winner of which got a candlelight dinner with the actors of the film during the game of Tractor, and, of course, pre-premier screenings of the first series. Could we have imagined that the most ordinary series, one in a thousand on our television, would be so beautiful and competently presented to the public? And all because ' Youth' there is something to surprise and captivate not worse 'Cadet' or even 'Legends #17'.
The plot tells about a team of young hockey players who are very dreaming of getting into the youth. But like any teenager, they are uncollected, disorganized, and enjoy life without thinking about the future. After losing another match, the coach decides to leave the team. Guys whose dreams are to get into the NHL, for some reason very happy, but not for long. Mysterious forces appoint them a new coach (Denis Nikiforov), tough and severe, who has only one goal - to bring the team to the youth.
Hockey is shot interestingly and very professionally, even ' Legend #17' can envy the picture that turns out in the end. But the sport here is a veil behind which the heroes themselves hide, whose stories will develop throughout the season. Everyone has their own problems and skeletons in the closet, the first conflicts and love lines are already outlined. Each viewer will receive a tidbit, no one will leave disappointed.
The series boasts interesting characters, a high-quality picture, typical only for large films, a variety of Chelyabinsk landscapes (although the creators assure that all coincidences are random) and wonderful music. Such a serious approach to sound design is famous behind-the-scenes series, but that our authors so carefully selected compositions for each significant moment - this is the first time.
Honestly, coming to the preview, I did not expect something good and exciting, but after a couple of minutes, the opinion changed radically. Interesting characters, exciting shooting, eating music and ' continuation follows ' in the most interesting place. . Well, a sequel in October, I hope you're with me.
