This documentary, directed by Stas Yegerev from the script of writer Sergey Alekseev and satirist Mikhail Zadornov, will tell a different story than the one taught at school. The film is dedicated to the most ancient city ever to exist on the territory of modern Russia – Arkaim. About 5 thousand years ago, it was located in the Urals, being thus a contemporary of the Egyptian pyramids. However, its history is much more complicated - so thought the satirist, publicist, researcher of alternative history of the Russian people Mikhail Zadornov. You can, of course, show sarcasm and consider the creation of a film about Arkaim another way to promote famous people, but it is better to look for a rational grain: we can not treat our ancestors as primitive creatures. Our history is much more complex than we thought before the discovery of the Land of Cities, which includes Arkaim. It seems that we have lost and forgotten much of the knowledge of our ancestors. . .
The film is worth watching for those who are interested in the history of the ancient world (at least for self-testing) and esotericism.
